I actually am! I had a total burst of energy so I am creating some oils. Totally contemplating an Etsy store...
I am a wood crafter, I keep trying to work on projects today but work keeps calling me. I'm on call to support off shift activities. But I am determined to get something completed.
Be careful with Etsy @whoismaryams, I have contemplated using it to sell my crafts but after talking about it to various members of the wood working groups I belong to I am hesitant to do so because Etsy has a way of hitting you the seller with numerous fees making it almost not worth it. I am thinking of just setting up a booth at a few of the smaller local craft fairs

Spent some time working on the fun car this weekend. Audio upgrade (wanted speakers that sounded a little less bright) yesterday, and rerouted some of the lines to my power steering cooler this morning.
@BearCraft I used to do a lot of machining and sometimes I just threw a brass bar in the lathe and made chips for the fun of it - love your photo!
if we count gaming. I ran some gw2 for a few hours. I also did a few tarot read recordings. I went out to talk to my morning glories.
I haven't had many hobbies outside of gaming and my garden. up here season is ending soon.
my sister gave me a beautiful leather bound journal and a calligraphy set. I might learn how to do that even though my penmanship isn't very good. but I've already read that calligraphy is more like an art of writing the letters than writing legibly. I almost bought a lego set today yo put together.

Well when I get home from work I'll probably be working on some Halloween music on guitar and working on my gaming hobby by playing the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. I find the remake easier and shorter.
I made this today, a simple bowl made from Maple. My aunt asked me to make it so she could have something to out her rings in at night

I spent a couple hours working on what started as a hobby, then grew into a small business. In October I made more money, and had a lot more fun, from my part time hobby than my full time work.
If I can keep growing it for a few more months, I will be upgrading from career 4.2 to career 5.0 in 2026.
