Filling out the form titled "Professional Cuddling Agreement"

The professional cuddler that I booked sent me a form for me to fill out with her. The concerning part is that it says to fill out my personal address and driver's license number. Is that normal and I cannot be anonymous anymore and the information can be used for the cuddler however they wish?

I am not completely sure if this "Professional Cuddling Agreement" form is legitimate or not. Please confirm to me if this is normal to fill out this form that discloses this personal information

  • Some do have forms to fill out and they do that for safety. If they’re well established on the site, have a lot of karma and have been here for a while, I doubt they’re going to throw all that away to scam you but if you’re uncomfortable, move on to a pro that doesn’t do that.

  • That's the thing. this professional has no karma references and has been on the website since 2023. I got on a call with her and she explained for the 2+ years she has been on this website she got a ton of clients book the day of and either cancel the booking or never showed. I needed to explain to her how the payment of this website works and we used Cashapp.

After speaking to her I can sympathize with her, but when she sent me this form yesterday I was mainly wanting to know the legitimacy of the form and if it is normal to ask for this information regarding my address and Driver's License Number. If it is considered normal then I am all good to go with this person. However, if someone has seen this form before and this has some information that is added to it that is not normal I really need to know this for myself

  • Some of the professional cuddling training courses highly recommend pros use forms like that for their own protection and records. So is it normal? It can be, yes. After all, most other service providers (massage therapists, chiropractors, licensed therapists, etc) also have their own agreement forms that require that information and far more.

That said, professional cuddling is not yet regulated the way those other professions are. It is possible there are bad actors who might utilize that information in ways you haven't agreed to. However, I'd hazard a guess that the pros requiring forms and DL numbers are far less likely to be scammers than those who don't require any info at all. Most scammers in this industry use other tactics to solicit quick cash and then disappear - they don't bother with elaborate schemes or identity theft.

In the end, it's up to your comfort level. If you're not comfortable providing that info or don't believe the pro us acting in good faith, then find another pro who better fits your needs.

  • This makes sense. For myself, I talked to her over a video call and she seems legitimate. I may be naive, I mainly want to protect myself from having this information getting into the wrong hands. When the professional gets this information form filled out are they going to submit it as a record for this website or they don't have to and they keep this information to themselves?

I am doing my due diligence for my own protection. I wondering because I want to make sure about not filling out forms out of ignorance and that's the purpose of this post to help me not be ignorant.

I'd be fine with paying a reasonable deposit to such a pro if her concern is last-minute cancellation. But I'd be reluctant to give THAT much detail -especially date of birth- in the form you're showing.

It is of course, her right to use whatever screening tools she feels are necessary for herself. But it's also your right to say "no" and book with someone who's not collecting quite so much personal information.

Discussions like these often put me in mind of a discussion in one of my college classes where the professor displayed a picture of a horse and said "if we call a tail a leg, then how many legs does this horse have?"

  • I am actively looking for alternatives to such sensitive information. I am going to try asking her if she is okay with not filling out the date of birth part and using a P.O box for my address for that protection. I'm not sure how to protect the Driver's License number part, but if things go well then I have nothing to fear. Again, after talking to her and realizing that I am her first paying client she says she is a bit nervous too as a first time cuddling session. I can understand that and I would be nervous too in her position with a man as a woman herself.

I will try asking for her grace of my concerns and hopefully she will be understanding and we both have a great time with the session!

  • @solomanu to answer your earlier question: no, any forms like that are for the cuddlers use and discretion only. The site doesn't require that information and there's no central tracking system.

Often times pros will collect things like legal name and driver's license to either a) run a background check, and/or b) have the info available to provide to law enforcement in the event something goes very wrong with the client. Providing non-trackable info in lieu of what she's asking is likely not going to help her feel protected.

  • I’m going to suggest you’re overthinking this and seeking in the wrong direction.

Your concerns are valid, so are hers.

But you’re not going to get reliable information about information security here, just about cuddling 😎. I’d suggest that you research what information is most readily compromised and misused and how to protect it, from sources that are knowledgeable.

To get to your first question, no these forms are not the norm. I’ve come across it once in a year of cuddles.

  • I understand. I can see that the legal protection from the side of the professional side and I would like that too if I was a professional. That being said I want to make sure to not divulge to much information that is not necessary for my own personal protection. So if this form is for the professional cuddler's records what insurance do I have that the information provided by the form is protected from anyone else to have access to the information?

Again, I know this website is not regulated but I am finding the most ways to protect myself in case if anything does go wrong. I am going to use a P.O box for the address, but for the date of birth part of the form I am going to message the professional cuddler if she is alright with leaving that blank or not. I will just have to wait and see her response I guess.

She’s been here since 2023 and still has never had a client yet? Form or no form, that seems weird to me. 2-3 years and not one?

  • Great news is that the professional cuddler understands my concerns and the information that she needs is far less and it is just a very simple verification process when I meet with her. No form required. :)

  • As I advised in a different chat couple days ago: "Next in line please"

  • Oh that’s good 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  • I wouldn’t fill that out

  • To be honest as a former pro turned moderator, I’ve seen a lot. I’m not saying fill out the form if you don’t want to. I’m just saying that if somebody got weird with me, I would usually take it out on the next few people by being overly cautious sometimes even rude because it made me jumpy.

  • That makes sense. I appreciate your perspective!

Although I have nothing to hide I would never disclose that information. Nor can I imagine any cuddler sharing her full name, address, phone number, drivers, date of birth and pap results.

Good Lord it’s a cuddle not a mortgage co-sign. Pass dot com.

  • I’ve never asked for anything like that form but there are video cameras in all of the hallways of the very secure high rise - I loved to cheerfully point out….
    (Smile for the camera! 😁).
The manager knew I was a Pro Cuddler so I always felt very safe. No access to the building without a fob. I took a lot of safety measures and never had a problem.
But we all should know by now that most of that so-called very private personal info is already out there.
Also, CCTV might capture you depending on where you’re visiting so 🤷‍♀️
    lol.
And I would never cuddle in a private home - neither mine nor his unless I knew him very well.

  • I ask to see their drivers license , I send a picture of it to a safety friend. I also take a picture of their car/license plate and send that info to my safety friend as well.. I let the cuddle client know that a safety friend will know where I am and who I am with .. I’m not sneaky about it, I let them know beforehand.. Safety..

    .

  • @JerryAtrick I can't speak for others, but for myself: yes, if a client asked for my info in return for their safety, I would provide it gladly.

But let's be real here for a moment: the risk of bodily harm to a male client is not anywhere near to risks to a female pro. To pretend otherwise is naive at best, and more likely disingenuous or outright a sign that one is not a safe person to be around in the first place.

  • Not normal lol

If you're hosting, and not at a hotel, then your cuddle partner already knows your address. If they know your address, they can easily find out your full name just by going to your town or city's website and looking up real estate records (if you own a home). Even if you're in an apartment, they can do a reverse lookup and find your info. If they are really interested and willing to spend a little money, they can enter your name and your location into one of a number of websites and get your entire background.

@JerryAtrick what Cuddlefaery and WriterGF said 😃

  • I'll show id or anything a cuddler asks for, but if she sends me a form like that telling me to fill it out and sign it, I'm going "thanks, but no thanks". Not interested in turning a cuddle into something like a lease agreement or something.

  • @WriterGF
That’s why most of us use a google voice number and a different name. Safety reasons.

  • As long as she's not asking for your social security, street your grew up on,.mother's maiden name, or name of your first pet, I think you're good. But for anyone else in a similar situation I the future, they should only do what they're comfortable with.

With no reviews, I would be suspicious. I saw a profile today where the cuddler had no reviews, was new, and was charging $500/hr. There are other "professional" services that caust less than that, like, ummm nevermind.

just make her sign a form back!

Submit a death certificate with your name on it to her with a message asking “Interested?”

I realize it is a grave proposition.

@TheFunCartel I'm coffin with laughter over that.

  • I am mortified at myself. But my curiosity to see if people would cuddle zombies proved too much for my judgment.
