Am I the only one that gets annoyed when they don't read the profile?🫠

How much do you charge for overnight?
When are you available? (Bc I simply adore last minute requests, especially late at night)
Do you host?

.....all of the answers are on the profile.
I took time and thought for my profile.

🫠Am I the only one that gets a little peeved??

There is a type of person who absolutely will not read profiles. It's nothing to do with men/women, and it's nothing to do with cuddling or this site. In other contexts they won't read the equivalent blurb, they ask the same dumb questions of hotel receptionists and checkin staff at airports. They can read perfectly well, they just ... won't. There is nothing you can do about it.

In my limited experience of being able to ask them why, they mostly won't say, or reply that they can get the information by asking, so why should they read? They don't care that it takes longer, and if they don't get answers they won't book/buy the Thing, whatever it is. They certainly don't care about the inconvenience they cause to others. I think it all boils down to some kind of self-importance or entitlement.

They never turn out to be good customers.

You can try saying that you especially value clients with special needs, and then asking if they are visually impaired or just have trouble with reading.

  • Hello @EmpressBlaze
I can’t say it bothers me. The only people who send a message first have been pros or scammers. I just get happy receiving a message sometimes. lol.

Yet I’ve also read this complaint on dating sites as well. Women will leave a key word in there message with instructions to put it in the subject of the message or they don’t reply.

So this definitely sounds like a reoccurring issue. Sorry you have to deal with it.
Free hugs given if requested, hope that helps.

Surveys have found that the cuddle community has a high number of people who are dyslexic. I myself was born dyslexic. Dluoc eb eht melborp.

  • I would gently (and non confrontationally suggest) that this post is analogous to the problem being complained about.

There are many similar posts that could have been looked up. Why create another one?

Yes many people don’t read profiles. It’s a common problem… and complaint.

  • Am I the only one that gets annoyed when they don't read the profile?🫠

No, you are not the only one. 😏

  • @EmpressBlaze Yes and no for me depending on how the cuddlers are. Some are just sweethearts and treats that we end up having great convos. However some do become red flags. 🫤

Here’s a spinoff… they don’t read the profile and have the audacity to block us afterwards cuz they don’t like our answers, which are already been notated. 😒

  • From my experience, people who don't read my profile also conveniently can't read the cc rules either. So I usually end up blocking them... Or I find that they have been banned. 🤷

  • Those that choose not to read the entire profile or invest effort in moving things along in a timely manner pretty much put the cart before the horse….(not how it works esp those with no pics) For me that’s a telltale they aren’t serious or not someone that I will hit it off with. So I will match the energy and leave the conversation where it is. No one has time to waste. Some people are just spectators in life and others can’t wait to get off the bench…. The cuddle community chooses wisely who gets to participate.

I love reading profiles in their entirety, but I'm a writer/reader. Since I enjoy just seeing what people can creatively come up with, I'm suspecting I might too much on the other side of it haha. So after having perused a lot of profiles for fun, I'm going to do my best to understand other POVs:

🔸️ Some profiles are super long and are like copy and paste.
🔸️Some people might have a hard time crafting an opening msg and this is their way to try to connect.
    🔸️chatgpt profiles
🔸️Some people just look at pics
🔸️Self-marketting saturation makes people tune out what they consider as filler. The same can be of signs these days. Have you ever counted how many signs there are on the road? Or in a parking deck?
    🔸️the obligatory people suck

  • @Huggycatbear I would add that as a seasoned cuddler who does read profiles, the ones that are non-stop don’ts I eliminate because they are too negative. I know women deal with a lot of dudes that are entitled and feel they are ordering an estrogen pizza. But there is a tactful way of communicating your strict boundaries and the proactive guilty verdict approach. I avoid the latter.

  • Charge them more and see if they don't go back and look at your profile lol. Thank me later 😌

I enjoy doing this in person. The look on their faces 😦😝 lol Their response is always "But your profile says..."

I have horrible grammar so I am very understanding of people misinterpreting what I want to convey. People just have alot going on. That's why they come to us so they can unwind. Don't take anything personal.

  • I just have fun with them now. Or if they’re really bad I just find reply and block/report if appropriate.

I even have a code word at the and even cuddles that use it have clearly not interpreted anything within the actual text.

When I’ve pointed out that someone clearly didn’t read my profile sometimes they double down and say yes they did.

I don’t think I have an overly long profile. I wrote it myself. It’s not complicated. People just hear what they want to hear sometimes whether in person or in text.

So I will reply or not reply as I see fit. Most of the people that message me end up deleted or banned within a matter of days anyway.

  • I just had a very nice message from a Canadian visitor to Los Angeles who read and responded to my profile so thoughtfully, except missed the very first line stating I'm in London and will be on the specific date he requested in LA 😅
It was still refreshing given the complete disregard of my profile from the previous 30-50 responding.
Hot tip if you're having a hard time connecting with people here: read the profile! Lots of good tips and insights large and small to guide your attempts at connection, and maybe if you don't make the person feel like they disappeared for the moments they read your message, they might even consider cuddling you!

  • @biancalovecraft
But then they can’t complain that they can’t connect with anyone 🤣
Sometimes I just reply with “read profiles, they’re important.” 🤷‍♀️

  • You're not the only one, it annoys the fuck out of me too 🙄

  • I've had people ask me how much for a session. If I reply, I just tell them "All the information is in my profile." If they're really good at reading, they'll notice that I'm not a pro. But somehow, they never respond after that.

Nowadays I have the code word that they have to say.

  • 🙏🏽 Thank you guys truly for all the feedback!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. 😌
It's been a very long while since anyone has actually booked. Lots of messages but no cuddles.

  • @TheFunCartel Same here. And I also avoid the ones that have too much component pricing (like with unreasonable travel fees, and then want to defer the CC cut onto me). And the ones that have a long list of requirements. I want to cuddle with you, not do backflips into hoops.

Sometimes the sections about general cuddling education are a bit long-winded (like the talk of oxytocin) and seems too much of a push for marketting. Credentials (like cuddling degrees) don't convince me to cuddle someome more. Super long profiles can always do a tl/dr section.

Talking about yourself and your interests draw my attention the most.
