Agree with @mickcuddle . A lot of people coming to this site are shy or nervous. This will prevent approaching people in a lot of circumstances. I try to be polite in my initial message, but I will message anyone who comes to my page who lives in my vicinity. Occasionally people are not appreciative of my reaching out, but enough are that I will continue to do so

I'm not sure what the logic was behind the decision to charge male pros a monthly fee and female pros only a percentage of cuddling fees. But there are a number of female pros on this site who do not respond to messages, appear to do very little business and seldom come online. If female pros were charged a monthly fee, it would help to eliminate some of the pros who clutter up the search results but are never available to cuddle. With the current fee arrangement, there is no incentive for a female pro to cuddle anyone. It doesn't cost them anything to just be idle on this site.
@UKGuy you raise an interesting point. I think the logic behind the scenes is this: Ownership intends the site to be funded by pros. Male pros rarely get clients, and most would generate no revenue at all if the site relied on the 85/15 split, as is done with females. On the other hand, the monthly fee for male pros is only $19.95. A female on the fee splitting arrangement needs to only generate around $132 per month in gross fees (that's around an hour and 40 minutes of cuddling at $80 per hour) to bring in the same revenue to the site that the male pro's flat fee does.
If all pros were put on that same flat fee, I think you're right: the inactive pros would drop off rather than continue to be charged the fee for a site they aren't participating in. The really active female pros would LOVE it, as it puts more money in their pocket than the revenue split does. Site management would be decidedly unhappy, as they would be getting substantially less revenue from the active pros. Mark would likely be tempted to raise the fees to compensate for this (perhaps negatively impacting the number of pros who would stick around), or seek other sources of revenue (like commercials on the site.). I agree that inactive pros cluttering up search results is a problem. I'm just not sure there is a solution that wouldn't create as many problems as it solves.
@quietman775 - I wasn't suggesting that female pros have the same fee structure that male pros currently have. However, perhaps a monthly minimum fee could be implemented. If the pro exceeded that minimum, there would be no difference to now, but if they earned less, they would be hit with the minimum charge. Perhaps they could avoid the minimum charge by deactivating their account so they would not show up in search results. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any incentive for the owners to curtail inactive accounts. There are many members on the site who have been inactive for months or years.

Inactivate Pros will be suspended in a few weeks as we will be requiring a payment card to be linked to the account. I suspect those that are not serious or inactive will not take action. You could potentially see half of Pros wiped out in this biblical event. Where's Noah when you need him?

Another point you may not have considered is that a flat monthly encourages continued participation from quality pros (if you continue to offer and improve the other benefits of the site), and encourages professionals to.help market this site. Honestly, most pros I know are not on here. They get their own clients through their own marketing, so why pay a % off some clients. I am on cuddlist also, which is a monthly fee structure. I don't get much business on there, but enough to cover the costs, and I continue to pay in order to continue to get the other benefits of the community and web training calls. As it is, I am encouraged to find and foster professional realationships through other sites. It's just natural psychology. Or I might eventually raise my prices only on this site. That doesn't help the community. I don't know. I just know that often people only look at individual profits and not the overall net profit after considering all economic factors... And not just net profits, but the long term effect on the community. For example, people often seem annoyed at the number of pros. A monthly fee would drastically help in this area. Though I like the idea of two months as %, because I appreciated the lower barrier to entry on this site to try it out, and that is long enough to try it out as a pro and decide if you want to stay or not. Anyway, economics and business are very complex. There is a lot more to it than just dollars. :-/

What browser/device are you using?
Firefox. I click an option and commit a search. When I return to "Search", this option is no longer selected, whereas all the other choices retain my previous settings.
Oh, are you just talking about how it looks visually? I thought you were saying it doesn't actually remember what you selected from a functional perspective.
It does not remember my selection, as-in, both option radio-buttons are blank.

Instead of calling it a "Profile", you could use a silly label like, "Cuddler Catalog, or whatever name. There may be other places in here where you could rebrand minutely, to substitute, and differentiate from "dating" site terminology. (just rambling)
Can we please have a person's location available from their forum posts? Right now we have to visit a person's profile to see where they are and the owners have stated this is 'creepy' if we do it too many times. Often it's necessary to know where a person is located to fully understand the meaning behind a post. For instance, someone just stated in a forum post, they are the only person active in their state, without naming the state.

I wish that my own reply to my karma from one of my recent client, swalker is not cut off. As a result my reply to him looked incomplete & it's not letting me edit & shorten it either. I posted a separate forum thread on this several days ago. Another pro cuddler had commented that she also had this same issue. Is this a computer glitch? If so, I hope it gets fixed. Thanks!
