Ghost town aka Cuddlecomfort

I am Pittsburgh-based and have reached out to probably a dozen people to initiate contact. Weeks have passed, and aside from someone hundreds of miles away, the only person who ever responded apologized for not responding over the holidays, but never responded after that. Is my experience common or unique to Pittsburgh? Where is everyone?

    Hi Lad. I think your experience is quite common as I heard similar stories from other enthusiasts. Bear in mind that during the holidays, folks may be spending time with their families. So they may not pop their head as often to check for messages. However it is already the 6th… so not too sure after that… sorry…

    For what it’s worth, I took a look at your profile and there are no red flags. Lots of folks create an account and then disappear. Try filtering by “last online this month” when you search and see if that helps.

    Profile looks great ... I've found myself slower to respond some due to the holiday season for sure. But also if you're looking for enthusiast in your area the male to female ratio can be a lil discouraging I'm told. Also many women won't interact with someone that doesn't have any karma. Which of course I understand the dilemma .m how then do you obtain karma. I've heard other men here suggest going the route of a pro to obtain a couple of good karma reports to make a profile more appealing. Women in here can get bombarded with messages and I'm sure enthusiast women are even more so then the pros.

    @LadoftheForest Okay so to clarify, you're having problems getting a response from pros?

    Definitely checking the last sign on time and date can help. People in this community come and go.

    Oh sorry I didn't realize it was a pro not getting back to you. As mentioned by others check their last lignin date and maybe cast a bigger net to find someone. Wishing you the best of luck for a wonderful cuddle experience. 🫂

    Perhaps this site should email inactive users aftet a certain period of time encouraging them to sign in or thurr account will be deactivated and then put thise accounts into a state where they don't show up.

    @LadoftheForest On the search tool you can set it to view only profiles on recently. Takes maybe…ten seconds.

    @LadoftheForest i suggest being and checking your local page often. People come and go, travellers will appear when they are cuddling in your area. Message people with a good introduction of yourself

    @LadoftheForest There are many cuddlers who will take breaks because of RL situations. They have a pause mode. But sometimes people don't go into pause and stop coming on for a long time.

    I agree. Cast a wide net and try a few active individuals. Sometimes their inbox gets flooded so it may take some time. I would give each person a couple of days to a week.

    I would agree, Complete ghost town. I have been a member since April of 2024. And i have sent over 50 messages to all the people in my area. And i have heard back from 3 of them, and they slowly disappeared or stop responding. I get messages from Pro's and people out of my state from time to time who have read my posts or profiles and state that they would love for me to come visit and cuddle with them. But is that really the only way to cuddle with someone? Travel 1000's of miles to get a cuddle? I understand that no response is a response. But overall i would agree this place is a complete ghost town.

    @AXoshijuac Your assessment in Albuquerque is valid. Hard to find any cuddlers there when I travel. Some places are better than others. I have no suggestions on how to improve your chances there.

    There are pros but they take forever to reply in Albuquerque and many are new then disappear in a couple of months. Weird market for cuddlers. You go down the road to El Paso and there are plenty.

    Joking aside. I have too many good things I'm doing to make a job ir hobby out of navigating things here. Maybe someone will reach out to me. My kids give me the sweetest hugs of all, and that will do just fine for now.

    @LadoftheForest , don't be fooled by the prices, I have seen pros that charge over 1000 dollars overnight, yet they have lots of karma, I don't believe anyone is actually paying that. If you "click" with a pro, prices can sometimes be negotiable.

    If you're ever in KC, let me know! My work schedule's crazy but I'll make time if at all possible. Enthusiasts get hit with LOTS of not even a little bit appealing messages often (I could send you screen shots! 🤮) that make us not want to check in here at all, much less to read messages from new people. There've been multiple times I've received an email saying I have a new message here and there's actually 8 or more, the oldest being from up to 7 weeks prior- And I never knew.

    I was just in your area on vacation this past September, but I was so busy seeing the sites that the thought to cuddle someone never even occurred to me! This absolutely takes patience, but when you find a good one- It's THE BEST!!! Good luck!

    Cuddle Comfort used to be a lot busier pre-2020. Then over the past 5 years it’s ebbed and flowed as far as active members. Seems seasonal usually. I travel around the country for work, so it’s definitely been a struggle finding a reliable cuddle buddy in some of the cities/states I visit.

    Some of the pro’s are charging very high prices too at $100-$150 or more per hour, and that’s unrealistic for a lot of us. But… that’s another conversation all together.
