Mine is Madoka Magica... it is PEAK. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend. There's a brand new movie coming out later this year and I'm so excited. 🙌🏼

I’m pretty basic when it comes to anime 😬. So I don’t have any super niche ones to mention haha. My favorite is probably Attack on Titan. I’m currently watching and loving Frieren as well though.
@BigAndCuddly29 me too, I love all the Studio Ghibli stuff so much, but I haven't branched out from there a whole lot. Spirited Away was just this eye-opening moment for me, where I could see the artistry, creativity, and depth of character that good stories in anime can have. I really enjoyed Porco Rosso, The Wind Rises, and Princess Mononoke also. The Boy and The Heron was a little convoluted, but lovely and emotionally resonant too.
So now I've been streaming Cowboy Bebop as my gateway drug to the rest of the anime world, ha.
Tough to just pick one I've always loved Digimon (the early ones), both avatar series, demon slayer was pretty cool as well, can't forget Naruto a classic. Goblin slayer was pretty awesome if you can stomach the first episode.

My favorite is Rurouni Kenshin, love the 90s style and watercolor backgrounds. Also a big fan of One Piece, for both the story and the progression of the art style. Plus, let's be honest- every character is their own unique level of fantastic.
Movies = Paprika (wild twisted psych thriller); all Studio Ghibli work. TV series = Dragonball Z (action, comedy; Japanese preferred, not English dub).
