Great new updates CC! I love the insert of the distance and rates on the profile photos as you browse. Makes it easier and more efficient to browse as you do t have to click on profiles if cuddlers are too far away or pricey.
I see prices, but not distances.
So I have a question about the distance feature. I have two office locations. And for a while, I was listing South Brunswick NJ as my first location and Huntington Valley PA as my second location. When I did a search using my location as South Brunswick, it says 0 miles. But when I did a search making my location in Philadelphia, it says 42 miles even though my Huntington Valley office is less than 42 miles from Philadelphia. But when I changed my locations around to make Huntington Valley the first location and South Brunswick the second location it said I was 13 or 14 miles away from Philadelphia. So basically the problem is people who are closer to whichever location I list as my second location are going to probably think I’m too far because the distance results are only based off of the first location.
Edit* I realized I didn’t really phrase this as a question but I’ve realized that it does make getting accurate search results for people with two locations more difficult. I don’t know if there’s a way around this or if I just have to alternate my locations frequently to get visibility in both areas.

Agreed, love it. I still wish there was an option to sort, especially by number of karmas but overall, great update.

A lot of profiles are about to get a lot fewer views with the prices posted!
An option to change the distance to metric units would be appreciated for those of us not living in freedom-land
I would love to see a feature where people who are planning to travel, can put their future location based on date. Sometimes people I’ve been following come to my area but they only change their location when they arrive and it gives a small window to try to fit something in my schedule. Advanced notice would help out a lot.
Sad to see that almost every pro now is $150+
@joey012616 That is an issue with planning on the individual's part, unfortunately. It is always wise to add an upcoming travel location ahead of time, so one can establish a connection with people before ever arriving.

@Jason1689 I see your profile says you joined fairly recently, prices have been that high for longer than you’ve been a member. Unless you’re a returning member.
@Jason1689 @Morpheus Depends entirely on where you're searching. My last search was set for Salt Lake and I just skimmed and found the majority of Pro's were $100 or less.
A lot of omi people in my area it seems.
@Morpheus I have two office locations. The search results only show the distance for my first location and not my second one. Basically making the option of having a second location useless.
For example, in the first photo, I set my location as Huntington Valley, which is the first location listed on my profile and when I do that search, it comes up that I’m 0 miles away. However, in the second photo I set my location to South Brunswick which is my second location and when I did that search, it says I’m 33 miles away. So if a person was looking to hire a cuddle therapist in the central jersey area, they would think I was a lot further than I actually was, if they didn’t realize I had another office there. Ideally, the search feature would show the person the distance of whichever location was closest rather than the first one.
@Jason1689 as others mentioned it's purely based on location. I just did a quick search in your area, I see there are a very few options and half of them are charging 150 😞 In Austin, where i live, when i started I said myself, let me start with cuddlers in 100-120 range before reaching out to the pros that charge 150. But im happy with the awesome cuddlers I have met so far and I don't think I would stretch my budget at this point. My advice would be to drive a little more if you can find someone within your budget. If you frequently travel out of your city, try to use that opportunity. Or you can discuss with the cuddler if they have room for a discount during their not-so-busy days, Nothing harm in asking. Also, from time to time, a new cuddler might be visiting your city for a weekend or so. That is also something to lookout for.
@xandriarain that's an excellent point. Location 2 serves some purpose but it can be improved as you suggested. Lets say if a cuddler is travelling to a new city next month, then she can update that as her Location 2. So your profile will show up when people in Location-2 search for cuddlers in their area and if you add a little detail in your profile abt your travel plan, it will open an opportunity to start a conversation and book appointments ahead of your travel. (Im pretty sure you know this 😀) Probably this would add little clarity to @joey012616 's question. @SunsetSnuggles correctly mentioned that the pros are not using the feature to their advantage. I think a little bit of training to the pros on how to use various features might help.
Distances and rates were always there. I'm not sure what has changed.
@ChemicalBob I’m not sure about distances, but with rates at least on the mobile version of the site you couldn’t see the rates unless you clicked on the profile
@summerson The way you described utilizing the second location is correct for those traveling (enthusiast or Pro alike). But @xandriarain perpetually offers cuddling in two offices that are within fairly close proximity of each other. She isn't traveling in the usual sense, like @joey012616 and I were referring to. She's addressing a programming opportunity with the site, where the new distance display on search results reflects only the first location's distance, rendering incorrect search results for the second location.
@SunsetSnuggles I totally understand the conversation. Xan mentioned. "Basically making the option of having a second location useless.". It's not useless, just that it doesn’t meet her need. My explanation was to show a practical usecase of how the feature is intended to be used by the end user. Her point is definitely worth considering. let's see if the implementation changes in the future.

Even outside Xandria’s situation of two static locations, I’ve got someone on my local filter showing as 500miles away who is going to be visiting the area temporarily. It’s not the worst user experience but it’s the other side of the coin from the static one. I need to click through still to see how far away they might end up being.
Perhaps a way of handling this down the road would be 1) list the location that is closer to you, and 2) add an icon to the location to show when they are actually present(for example a small “HERE” icon, probably with a better name). This would help for travelers to indicate which site they’ve arrived at and allow multiple static locations to continue to function.
This might still have a use case gap but I think it might prevent one style from bulldozing the other. Just a thought.
These changes have been welcome though.
Sorry if this feels off topic or tangential, but is there any appetite for volunteer help in enhancing the site? I'm a professional web developer with twenty years of experience, proficient in JavaScript. It feels like @xandriarain 's use case could be accommodated without a lot of difficulty, in my outside opinion, and I'd be willing to help out if that's something allowed. Or if there are other high priority use cases, I'd be happy to help out.

@summerson but even if I was using that second location for travel. If I was going to Orlando Florida next month and put that in my second location, I would't show up for anyone in Florida's search results so it isn't really helpful for travelers either. From what I remember it used to be that the second location would show up in searches.

The distance is definitely not accurate. The site should use zip codes to calculate. I live in Portland, so any cuddler that is in Portland is listed as 0 miles. Different areas of Portland are miles apart. Of course, if we’re both in Portland, the distance isn’t going to be that bad, but regardless not 0 miles:)
They have never been accurate, it's more a rough guide.
It ultimately depends on what people enter in their profile. If everyone chose to enter their zipcode then it would be far more accurate but we also allow people to just enter their cities. I think many people would feel uneasy on a niche website like this being forced to enter a zipcode (even though we wouldn't display it as such).
In the UK, our 'zipcodes' are a tight radius near your house. Whereas in the US, from what I understand, it represents a much larger area so I'm not entirely sure how much sign-up friction it would actually cause in those cases.
Mark, in most metro US areas, ZIP codes should work well for this, as major cities are usually broken up into multiple postal zones. In more rural areas it would be less helpful for distance.
