@SpicyNSweet I was not an exception BUT I am not a victim or self-blaming anymore. I had a difficulty understanding my orientation for several years. I did not know there is something called 'therapy' and people can actually help until I moved to the states. She was good. She charged a lot but it was worth 100%.
@sausalito It makes sense if escort ad sites were banned it is obvious they try to find another way. There is nothing wrong on their side. they have to make a living for themselves and those depend on them. Butterfly effect is - It is making people to question some profiles like .
I think 'The elephant in the room' is this feeling of compulsion, automatic support or bashing based on gender. We only want to hear what we want to hear. Anything else triggers us.
We can actually disagree and call out while being kind. I feel it is a better practice.
@consciousseeker Thank you so much for seeing me and lending me your understanding. I think you are a beautiful man who has survived so much. I'm so sorry that you knew someone that was hurt so much by predators, she couldn't find a way out of her pain.
I, too, just last month called the suicide hotline for the first time. I, too, have trouble finding a way out of my pain. I had a really awesome cuddler that I had an amazing continuous connection with, that when I tried to explain my struggle, dumped me like trash.
I feel a kinship with you, ever since I saw that we have the same pic in the same cave in Sedona.
And hearing all the incredibly hard things you've survived.
I want to sent my love, care, and prayers to you. There are incredible men in my life who have saved me, when I've been abandoned by others.
@LeilaBags I know all we have are first impressions when we first connect here, but nobody should judge a book by its cover. Too many assumptions on this forum create exactly as you say, a witch hunt.
People are never one thing, and have many lifestyles, and once again, I enjoyed your intellectual conversations and tenderness. All encased in a cool cat. 🤗
We can only respond to Reports. If something is not Reported, we don't know about it. Sex workers are Reported and Banned every day. - @CuddleDuncan
@Huggycatbear yeah that pic in Subway cave is dope. Sending my thoughts to you as well. on a lighter note, it is estimated that 100-300 million sperms fight to reach the egg. We actually survived that and took this beautiful human form. Please don't abandon yourself ever or feel like victim or seek external validation too much. Hating or resenting others is like punishing ourselves - That was from my therapist.
@consciousseeker I bow to you. You see my wounds.
I am on this road of not seeking external validation, but I will not be silent when expressing myself or when I need to cry out for help.
I am confident and stable despite my wounds. And yes, I falter and stumble.
My spirit guide says that expressing your pain is not weakness. Not when I come from a time where we stayed silent.
I will always advocate for myself, and others.
@jackdennison now we get to the crux of it all. Where the root lies.
I'm so sorry your experience was riddled with dishonorable people.
I have reported SW only for them to get a temp ban when they remove their web page of offerings. Do you think they stop SWing when they come back?
And now we have a thread asking them politely to stop. And you can see everyone's emotions in here are heavy with hurt and frustration.
It's important we don't turn on each other.
Some people were polite about it. Others were...less than kind to SW, who are still human beings. It's troubling in this day and age that men who prey on women are still often able to escape accountability in any form.
The only true statement in this post (Moderators do not get paid) is bolted to an insult, so I think we can live without it. - @CuddleDuncan
@SpicyNSweet Those kind of men ruin it for both men and women. I am guilty until proven innocent because those horrible acts of men. And women have it so much harder worrying about their safety. Nobody deserves that trauma when all they seek and/or offer is care.
SW are human beings, but there are women who manipulate and scam and get a simple timeout on this site, only to come back and continue course.
Thank you for that 😊 and I agree
Of course, yes.. SW are human beings deserving of love, kindness and compassion like All human beings 💕 they just shouldn’t be on a platonic cuddling site..
Wonderful post! I have noticed a change this last year and I do not like it. I have been rejecting a lot of people - wrong platform is what I tell them! Thanks everyone for your comments here 😊 cuddle therapy is what we’re all about! I hope to keep it that way!
@TashaBear please Report them.
It's helpful to keep conversation on the site even after Booking if you can: we can read it once they have been Reported.
If a genie appeared and offered me one wish it would be for all conversation to be kept on the site.
@SweetCuddler33 yes, I'm referring to the scattered derogatory comments. They were unnecessary.
Changed my mind again. I guess the cuddling market is partly based on appearance, driven by some men choosing to pay for beauty, some women charging based on beauty then the cost should be expected. I’m only concluding this because of a few comments in this thread.
Highjacking and off topic. Please read the forum rules, and @cuddlefaery's comment below is correct. - BlueIris
Hi @eddieob99 , you'll probably have better luck finding someone by posting in the Requests forum rather than on random threads in General.
I totally agree on this , I would also like to point out that charging $200+ /hourly rates is going to make some people think there is more to the session than companionship alone
@snugglerlive perhaps you should back read the rest of this thread, as well as this mega thread on pro pricing
@cuddlefaery I have read some of that , and I still think its pretty insane some of the pros here are asking to be paid the equivalent of a MD specialist consultation per hour , and a lot of them don't even host , also I think that they are trying to filter male clients based on their tax bracket
@snugglerlive You are going off topic with your pricing complaint. If you want to discuss that, go do that here: https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/4600/why-is-there-such-a-disparity-in-price-price-mega-thread#latest
@snugglerlive Markets dictate pricing. Always. This has already been addressed earlier in this thread. And if cuddlers want to filter out clients with their fee, that is their prerogative and doesn't make them a bad person or a SW worker (SW are not bad people).
Now there are definitely people on here who offer extras for money. The request in the OP is that they stop doing that. But how much a cuddler charges is not an indication that they do offer those extras.
And assuming a high fee signals 'extras' says more about the person making the assumption than about the cuddler charging the fee.
@mauvefox thank you and well said 🙌
So many assumptions made about rates relating to sex work. Considering I can go on the street corner and get favors for 20 bucks if I wanted, does this also mean that if a cuddle pro charges 20 bucks they are giving extras? And for all the whining over rates, if someone were charging 10 bucks there would be people who complain that it's not 5 🙄
High prices don’t mean extra services - SUPER Attractive Pros use their looks to their advantage. They will literally provide the EXACT SAME cuddle style with the same level of conversational banter, but charge 2X price - anyone can charge $400+ but searching through this website - that is attainable for the top 10% of women in terms of our US standard of beauty. This is unfortunately shallow, but it is the truth not just for cuddles but almost every area of life.
@pmvines I believe it 👍
Thank you all for the discussion in the thread. This is my first post so be gentle with any criticism:)
I have been extremely lucky in the dozen or so cuddles I’ve participated in. I have been so impressed at the professionalism and respect that EVERY cuddler has shown me. I started cuddling as a very naive person, not really knowing the rules and what to expect. I started in Portland and had a first cuddle with the most amazing cuddle professional imaginable. She was honest with me and educated me about how a professional, platonic session takes place. That education was exactly what I needed and she was/is the best ambassador for what CC stands for. So now, as I meet other fellow cuddlers… I know what the standard is and I want to live up to that. I NEVER want to disrespect anyone here. And I want to give others what they platonically need… just like I was given. Thank you all!!!
In my travels, I have not met one cuddler who proposed any “extra” services. I just can’t imagine someone would be so bold, either to offer or to ask. The platonic part is a blessing to me… it’s so much more of a connection and way less stressful to not have sex or “acts” involved in the equation. Am I attracted physically to some cuddlers? For sure, but that’s far from the joy of cuddling. For me.. I just want to feel accepted and nurtured, so I can leave the stresses of the world. It’s regenerative. I would never want to violate that space being inappropriate. I hope many men feel the same way. I hope no one ruins this safe platform space that has given so many comfort.
I appreciate some stick up for those that price high… It is a free market. I do not have unlimited funds… I just know I will never have the joy of meeting probably some great cuddlers that are out of my price range. I don’t think we can stereotype high chargers with SW. I like the forums because when we get off base and stereotype.. someone makes a great point and reminds us of our biases. It helps to keep me grounded, for sure, and helps me avoid making assumptions. I’m human… so good discussions help me straighten out my opinions a bit. Thank you for that.
Talking issues out has been so helpful. Again, thank you all for your contributions and membership in this amazing community!!

@durantpiano there's a simple, though not easy, fix for that - clients should stop picking their pro cuddlers based off of attractiveness. If the demand shifts, the prices and supply will too. But too many people, largely men, pick their platonic cuddle partners based off their romantic & sexual standards. If people start treating it as a truly platonic service, not this quasi gray area, then they'd have a lot easier time.
This is the only platonic shared activity I can think of where people stubbornly continue to apply romantic/sexual standards. I doubt most people pick their pickleball teammates based off of attractiveness. Nor their weekend running buddies. Nor their D&D party. And if they do, they really ought to stop that.
