Which Is More?

edited April 12 in General

What is more I wonder. The number of circular posts that seem to start and end and then start again at exactly the same spot they originated and then ended from, or the amount of licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? It's literally the same rehash after rehash. A song that never ends. And there is nothing new to say, just the same old arguments, whining, and mental flatulence.

Now if you'll excuse me, me and the restroom have a hot date

  • How many corners are in a circular room? And why do they sell hot dog buns in packs of 12 but hot dogs in packs of 8?

  • What color is a fruit salad?

  • These are all things I wonder every time I open the fridge

  • Haha every time certain threads go to the top of the list, literally in my head I’m singing the Lambchop’s Play-Along song: “This is the song that never ends, it goes on and on, my friends. Some people started singing it without knowing what it was, and they’ll continue singing it forever just because.” 🎶 🐑

  • I love the threads that don't talk about cuddling ironically. They seem much more civil.

Who would of thought speaking about cuddling would erupt so many times into gender on gender vitriol. Threads derail into the same complaints over and over.

  • I wonder which is more: threads that go circular or threads that go pear shaped.

It only takes 3 licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop. I should know* I asked Mr Owl when I was kid. Oh wait that wasn’t me, that was my best friend growing up, the TV.

  • @Bear and that's why so many of us gen x and elder millennials have had so much dental work 😂

  • @cuddlefaery tell me about it.

Damn tv zapping our brain waves and messing up our teeth. 🤪

  • To me the most interesting threads are the ones that circle around an opinion of a subject with people arguing but expressing the same view but using different words, creating drama for all of us to enjoy reading.

  • I was told that less is.

  • That tells how strongly conditioned we are and our opinions. We hardly try to see a different perspective let alone accept one. We are sensitive, judge-mental, offended and often attacks anything that do not align with our beliefs. That's why these threads go round n round n round n round.

  • six of one or half a dozen of the other?
