Love his music. Very calming, layered tunes. came across this mini doc on how he was chewed up and spit out by the music industry. MTV era when it emerged really did a lot of damage to the music industry, all about image. I remember lip synching scandals, C+C music factory backup singer plus the whole milli vanilli thing lol.

    I used to sometimes, I haven’t listened to much from him in a long time except for his Sailing hit. Thanks for sharing this because I didn’t know his story. I knew his hits.

    Last night I was spending a long time listening to one of my favorites, Jackson Browne. He’s had a lot of tragedy in his life. Loved his music from the start.

    Loved Christopher Cross! Saw most of the video. Sad what happened to his career, not only because of MTV but because of the overwhelming success of his first album creating expectations from his music company that he couldn't fulfill.

    I grew up listening to Arthur’s Theme and Ride like the Wind. Both are favorites.
    He looks great at 74, probably because he didn’t join the MTV fame. Thanks for posting @wilderdude

    @Bear How ironic. He was essentially ousted from the mainstream music industry because he had a dad bod and wasn't a pretty boy. But now as a senior citizen, he looks good! I agree!
