The boy got into RN program locally

I am ecstatic. He got into his nursing program locally, which is incredible because there are a ton more applicants than spots available. He had been mulling going to a school quite far away.

Just feeling on top of the world right now and had to share lol.

    Wishing him the best from a fellow RN. Don't be surprised if he pulls away from everyone over the next 2 years. RN school is tough and very Isolating. Studying and sleep will be the only things he WILL have time for 🥰 but it's very duable!

    @Cuddlingforlife he'll have a lot of help, his grandmother did RN school late in life, late 40s/early 50s and his mother is a LVN.

    I'm probably going to transition over to that line of work as well. Will start working on prerequisites later this year

    CONGRATS!! 🥳 I HIGHLY recommend being a traveling nurse until any student loans are paid off. My (male) best friend had his paid off from a private, out of state, 4 year institution before age 40 while married, having bought a house, and legally adopted a special needs kid. He’s an ER nurse who’s been assaulted more than once though, so 🙏.
