And you wonder, can I?
And more so, would it be healthier without it, at least for a while?
Oh heck yes it would be healthier but I don't think I'd be myself for a very long time. 🚭
Mine is an obvious one... the phone.
And I've gotten so bad with it. Working on not checking it when I drive. Or other than taking pics, not having convos with it when I do a solo hike. At least when I go out with other people, especially on a date, I don't look at it at all.
Care to share what is yours, @Cuddlesofcuddle ?
my 3d printer lately , for the most part its a solution looking for a problem to solve, knowing a lot of the stuff I print I can just buy on temu. I enjoy the whole process of finding models, the different filaments(i.e. colors) to choose..., its a nice escape for me.
yeah the phone is great, I do miss the days when you could leave your house and no one could get a hold until you got home though. Its hard to escape constant expectations now it seems, nothing can ever wait.
The 3d printer really is quite a handy device. After a while I stop recalling which things were solved with 3d printing. And hey, often the solution is in the pennies to dollars range of filament consumed. It’s a fun hobby
My autonomy.
It’ll definitely be my phone. It’s a love and hate relationship.
My wife but I don’t think I’d be healthier without her lol
Good home made chai tea, keeps me from catching a strike.

Modern medicine - particularly antibiotics.
@Huggycatbear Im chuckling to myself. For me, it would be a cell phone since I enjoy keeping in contact with people as well as working with people for healing. After I read about the 3-D printer I’m thinking oh that sounds like fun, lol.
There are times I try not to use it as much and I turn notifications off. After my mother passed, I never turned off the ringer in case my dad needed something. Then after he passed, I felt a freedom of being able to turn off the ringer. While I was caregiving before I had both knees replaced, I wasn’t very active socially in person. After my dad passed, I shut down in a lot of ways. Now I’ve become more socially active and talk with more people via text and wanting to get out and socialize because I’m physically able as well as having time. Not to mention an addiction to Instagram, lol. On the weekends, I usually turn off my ringer now just to give myself a break. Now I need to try again not by a 3-D printer, lol.

Chinese food, the world would end pretty quickly! All my Chinese and a Jewish friends would be apoplectic and just get on rafts to nowhere, because without all that deliciousness what’s the point of living?
Air conditioning and tampons...the only reasons I'm happy I was born into this era. 😛

My stuffed animals. They were my only source of comfort for a number of years and I still love them.

Music! Just playing in the background while I surf the net, or some good prog tracks for a road trip, or live music, or nap music.
