Do Enthusiasts Exist?

  • Before there were pros, I cuddled with probably 3 to 4 different people. Then I was gone for a little while and when I came back, there were pros. I met one and I was able to cuddle with them for a while. In the last two years I’ve made friends with one enthusiast, but having cuddled with her. And I recently started talking to another one that I’m supposed to meet in a few weeks. She’s in another state so I’m not sure when we’ll get to Cuddle, but she comes to Chicago occasionally. The biggest issue is a lot of women seem to join and then they get somebody who tries to violate their boundaries and they leave. It’s happened a few times that I talked to women. Or women come to the site knowing that it’s a way to make money and they are an enthusiast for like a week and then they become professionals. Or they come on his enthusiast and see that professionals are making money as well. I’ve seen that happen.

  • I have been with an enthusiast and I have to admit that a professional was not as messy. With a pro, there was a set time to start and end with clear communication about boundaries and expectations. With the enthusiast, it was kind of a play it by ear and see how it goes which is fine, but I ended up spending more time than I planned with the session. I know that we can still have structure and boundaries with enthusiasts but both participants need to make it happen.

I have also been with an enthusiast who wanted a "Tip" after the session. I explained to her that since she did not specify a charge before I arrived, I did not bring any money. I have not returned to her since. I have also had one leave after she realized that I was not going to pay money for the session. I wish they would stop trying to avoid the fees and just play by the rules, but some of them are actually pros trying to hide from the system.

  • @Bill1975

I'm so sick and tired of stealth pros! Thankfully, I've made them expose themselves before actually meeting in person or cuddling.

Very shady behavior, not communicating in advance that they're expecting compensation.

  • @Bill1975 unfortunately people try to circumvent the rules whether they are pros, clients, or enthusiasts 😕 I hope you reported them as untagged pros so that they could be prevented from doing that to other people.

  • Wow, I really appreciate everyone's feedback and experiences here!

Reading through all this is a teeny bit depressing, but I shouldn't be surprised that we humans can even mess up something as simple as cuddling lol

    Be well, everyone! 🤗

    Enthusiasts do exist.

  • Yes, the site is regularly used by enthusiasts. There are countless more enthusiast men than women, however. Of course they are the ones who keep the Pro's in business.

As for enthusiast-with-enthusiast cuddles, that is almost strictly all I do. 😊

I think the scarcity of female enthusiasts is very affected by location. There's a thriving community in Colorado, but in many places, even Pro's are far away. Willingness to travel is quite often going to determine one's experience, here.

  • I'm new here and new to cuddling. “Pro” is easy to figure out, but how do you define “enthusiast”?

  • We do exist.

But, I have become very selective and picky over time. Especially when I feel they are applying for a friendship role, that I hope lasts forever. 🥰 I'm still taking applications for a bestie. Lol

Many (Male) cuddlers want instant gratification, they want right now. Those I tend to avoid.

I need on going communication. trust, and effort and alot if those qualities are hard to come by.

I live in an area where almost nobody is active on the site making travel necessary. With that said, Out of the 2 years I have been active, 2 cuddlers volunteered to traveled to me. Those, 2 ppl I can guininely call a friend. 98% of the time , i do the traveling and the reaching out when I am available.

It makes me sad in regards to the lack of effort and their time.

  • That remind me of the m and m commercial with Santa!! "they do exist" Santa Faints

  • @HeyCasualTouch an enthusiast is just another term for hobbyist or amateur. It's someone who participates in platonic cuddling as a hobby and not for pay. Basically, it's everyone on the site who isn't a client or pro.

  • A client can also be an enthusiast.

  • @cuddlefaery Yes, I did report and will continue doing so because that kind of shady behavior does not belong here. :)

  • I'm a 37 year old Asian female and I signed on to the website for cuddles as an amateur. To say my inbox was overwhelming is an understatement and I barely have any info on my profile. If other women have this experience, I can see why they prefer to go pro since you can get so many requests that now time is money. I luckily found my perfect cuddling partner on the first try after looking at karma.

  • Enthusiasts do exist! I was an enthusiast before transitioning to professional. In my experience as an enthusiast it was hard to find matching schedules and men who would meet in person or chat via phone prior to cuddling. Safety first! 🤗🤗

  • But I wonder if non-transactional cuddling actually happens?

Yes it does actually happen. 😊👍

  • Yes enthusiasts do exist. I currently have three that I have met that are ongoing. I have given karma to enthusiasts in the past, but I learned from one that deleted their account that the number of guys messaging her became overwhelming. She moved from LA to Atlanta, lingered a bit on here, then deleted. As a result I do not give karma to enthusiasts unless they ask.
