Thank you for blocking me

  • People also will block people just to keep them from showing up in their search results 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know several people who are not interested in hiring pros who will block their local pros - even though there's a search filter to hide pros

  • I'm fcking dying laughing

  • I think self awareness is an even rarer trait than people think🤷

  • Saw a profile some time back with a statement in the bio along the lines of "I reserve the right to block anyone who might be harmful to my mental health". Perhaps I'll give that approach a try for awhile and see how it goes. :-)

  • 😊 🚶‍♂️

  • For real @jubal 🤌 love that!!

  • @mauvefox my cell phone alarm is the Gummy Bear theme song

  • @Goonie4life
    That’s amazing!!

  • lol @Kempist I might be one of those visitors, I just came from reading another forum and clicked on your profile because my curiosity asked, "who is this enigma that has stirred the pot?".

I've been blocked by other pros, they'll visit my profile, copy and paste MY bio into their page and then block me. I've been told that my bio has been repeatedly used by others.

I'll block someone if the conversation has some weird strings attached. Sometimes, I read too much into what's being written and maybe I'm at fault for filtering it that way but better safe than sorry.

  • Way better safe than sorry 💯
Sometimes a blessing in disguise. Sometimes a lesson to learn, grow and reflect on. The person I'm talking about has been unblocked and I can proudly say boundaries are followed, mutual respect is there, communication on and off site is something to cherish and I'm thankful.

  • Block for your peace of mind. I blocked a dude who ignored my request to meet up first before actually booking. My safety comes first, after having a traumatic second experience.

  • Maybe one day I'll go through my blocks for another reflection session 🤗
I can admit that I have blocked pros left and right. Forgive me folks, we're all on our own level of growth and maturity ☺️ CC has helped me do so much of that.

  • Here's a Doozy for all you oon this thread!

A professional cuddler based in Tampa, Florida, reached out to me out of the blue. Since I live in New York City and usually look for local connections, I politely declined her offer. I wished her the best of luck and noted the distance between us.

Before we parted ways, I noticed on her profile that she loves music. Because I love connecting over shared interests, I decided to share a personal pet project I’m incredibly proud of, a game I built from scratch with my own blood, sweat, and tears called 80s Grid. I wasn't looking for traffic; I just wanted to share a cool, relevant creation with a fellow music lover.

Shortly after, support reached out with a gentle reminder to avoid sending outside links unless requested. Wanting to clear the air, I messaged her one last time to clarify that the link was genuinely sent in good faith because of our shared love for music.

While she ultimately decided to block me, I actually view it as a total win. It kept the conversation clean, drew a clear line, and allowed both of us to move on without any lingering awkwardness. I'm just glad I stood up for my intentions and stayed polite throughout!
And if anyone on this threqad likes Madonna, Pat Benatar, The Police or Bon Jovi feel free to play my passion porject..it's free..no sign up..no ads..just fun≥

Fine with me. I'm the one spending money so if it's a 'pro' it's their financial loss. If it's enthusiast they lost a good friend .

  • I'm very proud of you for setting boundaries NYC

Another message me with the same opening message yesterday....

"Are you free to cuddle now?"

    Lol 😆

I politely said again, "No I am not. Have a nice day!☺️"

I decided to just block after my response, I decided not to take the risk of being called "huge" again. Lol!😁👍

I know I shouldn't lump all Dudebros together like that. 😆

    Bad Katota, bad! 😜

I just got blocked for no reason at all 🤦‍♂️

I was only asking for advice regarding a recent experience I had with a pro cuddler.

  • There's always a reason. Just because they didn't share it with you doesn't mean there's no reason.

  • edited June 3

That sounds a little sketchy imo @alvin152
And I apologize if I’ve misunderstood your complaint…but asking someone who you don’t actually know (I assume) to discuss an experience with a specific Pro with you ?
There have been a few forum threads about men who do that. None of them were regarded as a good idea.

  • @alvin152
Um if you were asking about what you posted on the have you ever fallen for a cuddler thread then it’s that. That’s the reason they blocked you.

Even though it was a different cuddler, that story is kind of scary and cringe. And the fact you kept messaging the person after the fact because you changed your mind is even weirder. Like what about her choice to not want to talk to you anymore.

Take a long hard look at your behaviors and how you treat other people’s boundaries.

  • @mauvefox
Thanks for clearly expressing exactly what I was thinking.
I would see this as extremely emotionally immature at best and maybe more like stalker behavior.

  • @alvin152 Don’t you have some chipmunks to discuss this with?

  • @TheFunCartel 😆😆😆😆

  • I have been blocked, and when it happens I say to myself,”self we did it again”, it can be just the fact that we didn’t align in space and time, or I could have just really annoyed them. Whatever the reason, I do not look at it as anything bad. I move on and don’t look back.

  • Sometimes blocked me. Sometimes went AWOL

  • @TheFunCartel please don't make fun of his name. Treat each other with kindness and respect.

  • Hey bud,.... it's just a Pop Culture joke. Calm down! Fun Cartel isn't doing anything wrong.

The Chipmunks - Alvin, Simon, & Theodore

  • @Goonie4life It’s ok. I took Theodore’s advice and blocked him until he gets funny bone corrective surgery.
