  • Ashley Judd. Someone was so insistent that I was her they accused me of lying when I said I wasn't her.

Pitt, Clooney, you know, the usual…
    (OK maybe not).

  • I don’t think I look like any celebrity, but I did see my doppelgänger at a Korean bbq place and it was super freaky.

  • Bob Dylan, Michael Cera, Shia LaBeouf

  • SpongeBob.

  • When I was younger I was able to get with a gal because she thought I looked like the guitarist for Sum 41 lol. This was around 2001.

I was always told I could be Cillian Murphys brother lol I've never ever believed it!

  • Growing up, especially when I had long hair, i was told I look like Tapenga from Boy Meets World. We're also both named Danielle - but I go by Nellie. My hair is growing back out though! It looked just like hers until it all fell out. 🥺

  • All of us fat bearded white guys look the same

  • @pmvines big hockey fan?

  • Back in college people told me I looked like Rachel McAdams; more recently, been told I resemble Renee Rapp

  • I always say I look like Brad Pitt if he went thru a wood chipper and was glued back together lol

  • Jabba the Hutt

  • I’ve gotten a lot. Ben Afleck, James Franco, Warren Beatty - maybe I should have been an actor.

  • Back in 2000 is the first time I had a really long ponytail and I’ve always usually had a goatee. When I wore shorts, I was told I look like the comic book guy from The Simpsons. Either that or Steven Seagal, who has the same birthday as me, lol.

Now with my goatee growing long, I’m starting to get comparisons to Captain Lou Albano, lol

It’s still too short to put a rubber band in it.

  • Since January 2025:

  • I have no idea for me. I think like 10 to 20 years ago I was told that I looked similar to this olympic skater but I can't remember his name or what year it was. I THINK he was for the USA but not sure. I think it was speed skating, but it could have been figure skating.

  • Awkwafina lol

  • Nicki Minaj and Megan Good are the most common, but I get told I look like tons of celebrities.

  • Newton

  • Years ago my brother-in-law insisted I look like Brittany murphy. Still don't see that one. I've heard Jordin Sparks and that actress from Gray's Anatomy, is it Sarah Ramirez? I dunno lol. I don't really think I look like anybody else but me.

I’ve gotten a lot. I think I just have one of those familiar faces 💀 just a carbon copy of my mom 👸

If you’re ever curious, there’s a website where you can upload your photo and it compares it against millions of other faces to find your closest non-celebrity doppelgänger, complete with a similarity percentage and country. It’s called Twin Strangers.

  • John Malcovich in Con Air

In the past I've gotten a wide mix ranging from: Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Jim Sturgess (21), and Marco Rubio lol. Also been told I sound like Charlie Day...

Maybe I'm a mix of them all?

  • No one ever says Phyllis Diller or WC Fields.

  • Years ago (High School and my first 4 years of college) a lot of people told me I looked like Mac Davis (singer / songwriter).

  • Back in the day, people used to say Christopher Reeve. These days people usually tell me that I look like some celebrity that they can't remember the name of. I guess I'm recognizable and forgettable at the same time.

On a side note, one day a few months ago, there was a young child of maybe 5-6 years old who looked exactly like I did at that age. The resemblance was so strong, I just kept looking at him, simultaneously amazed and nostalgic. Hope the parents didn't think I was creeping out on their kid.

I won’t post the ones I’ve been told because I don’t agree with them and am usually very amused (or occasionally annoyed?) by them.

But in an adjacent story… i reluctantly went along with a blind date once that friends set up. After a couple calls and texts we agreed to meet. I told her that I’d be the guy wearing a yellow shirt that looked like how Steve Buscemi wished he looked.

She very valiantly tried to hide her confusion and concern and met me anyway.. 😂😎 and laughed her ass off after meeting me. Pretty sure morbid curiosity drove her at that point. She’d have been happy with whatever I looked like.

We had a great time and became friends.

I don’t make real comparisons because I’d rather just be appreciated, or not, for myself.

    Edits: way too many typos

  • @CSnMUS87 Apolo Anton Ohno!

I used to get Katie Holmes and Anne Hathaway.

My hair is extremely different now, and I gained weight. People mostly comment on/compliment my hair and my stylistic choices, now. Can't think of any recent comparisons.

If I were to throw out a guess, maybe...
