Safe from what?
Everything in this world has differing degrees of safety, and you should definitely take appropriate precautions against that here or anywhere else.
No one here is officially vetted to any capacity, pro or otherwise, which I presume is the main thing you're curious about. That type of thing requires infrastructure and incurs costs, and this site doesn't have any of that type of infrastructure. So always use your own judgement and protocols that suit your comfort level when engaging.
Familiarize yourself with the Karma system here so you understand how that works. That can potentially be helpful to you.

Like any online platform for anything. There are creepers and grifters and scammers.

@bullishtrader1 No online site can guarantee complete safety. You're never fully safe, even with people you know personally. The best you can do is use good judgment and take reasonable precautions.

The site if full of some genuine people for sure. I’ve made some as friends. Yet at the same time there are people. Not all people are safe. That is the conundrum. A matter of perspective.
