Mental state of winning the lottery

So last night I was on a hard rock betting app betting on the UFC fight event that happened at the White House all my fighters won that I picked however I made critical mistake of choosing the wrong winning method all my fighters winning method was successful except one fighter named Bo nickel I accidentally chose that he would win by a decision when he won by knockout all the other fighters that I chose I chose they would win by knockout I was supposed to choose bow nickel to win by knockout as well I don't know if I was in a rush and I just clicked the wrong thing when you get the fighter correct plus the winning method correct the amount you increases substantially if I had chose knockout for bow nickel rather than decision I would have made 105 million dollars

Do you understand what's happening here I could have changed my life overnight with one click of a button all because I clicked the wrong thing I meant I meant to click knockout not decision cuz all the other fights are click knockout I had no reason to choose decision over a simple mistake I missed out on being a millionaire overnight this is disheartening

Has anyone else had any experiences where they almost could have won then family and friends look at you like yeah yeah yeah well that's life and you know the odds of winning or are slim I get that but I literally was supposed to win I clicked the wrong thing this is insane

🥺😭😭😭

    Gotcha . I hear ya

  • I'm sorry sometimes things happen in a blink of an eye that can change things forever in a positive or negative way. Try to look at the positive that you did win & you did get money. Granted not life changing money but still. Congrats on your win! 🥳

There are so many stories of people winning the lottery & they feel so unhappy, unfulfilled, & unsatisfied. People coming out of the woodwork to try & get a piece of the winnings. Be glad you don't have to worry if your friends are really your friends or just looking for a hand out. Winning big is not always a positive thing.

  • Maybe this happened for a reason. I’ve read multiple stories of how hitting the lottery ruined a person’s life. They over spent or family were leeches.

A positive perspective may help versus the negativity.

  • Losing out of $105 million over one Nickal would indeed be frustrating.

  • This is not so much of a monetary winning, but in life… so here goes my experience: I could had told this person that I like them, but I never did because I overthink it. Now that they had passed away, I never gotten the chance to tell them how I felt. That’s my winning that I would never be able to experience ever again… 😔

  • I bought a small amount of bitcoin and sent over 400 of it in 2016… lost the account and then it blew up. Life could be totally different right now for me and I’m unsure of how to recover the account

  • Yeah, I get it. Have never experienced an "almost" with that much money, but still understand the frustration at missing by such a small margin.

  • What an incredible event that was. Who would've thought that gaethje would beat down Ilia the way he did. 6:1 underdog.

  • Not quite like that, I almost bought ONE bitcoin back in 2016 for like $650 CAD.

Like @Imaani except 400x less and yeah that would have stacked up for sure.

As for sports betting though, I'm not big into "gambling", however when I ever did rarely bet, I never lost, but I never did bet big amounts.

Won $14 on Pacquiao versus Mayweather, the price of the ticket to go see the fight broadcast live at a movie theatre.

For the bitcoin thing, I would have "made" $85k (assuming I would not have spent it on other things, which was not an impossibility...)

So I can sort of relate, like people telling me "yeah well if you knew then..." but not only is your ouch more painful for higher amounts not gained, it was due to a technicality.

That "almost won" feeling. Yeah 105 million dollars is some f**king life changing money.

    Indeed, money.

  • Ya gotta streak goin, full of momentum, look at it that way instead.

  • @wilderdude yes I'm glad I didn't bet on toporia I usually never bet on the last 2 fights it's usually so competitive it could have gone either way. Justin definitely got hurt bad on occasions

  • @DaveLaughs yea I keep replaying in my head wish I would have done that and envisioning in my brain sucking on the right thing LOL. I need to stop torturing myself

    @TxTom 😆😆😆😆

Now that you put it THAT WAY! 😆👍

  • I know right @Katota the irony was Astounding. Lol freaking bo Nickel cost em everything

  • Wow sorry to here that.
