In Nashville this weekend we have GalaxyCon. I have several available passes I haven't been able to find any buddies to join me and use them.
Going to Water World for an adults only(21+) event tonight. It sold out very quickly after tickets went on sale. It's not included with season passes.

I'm not working for the first weekend in a long time. I took a handful of melatonin and slept in until 11am. Now I am in my recliner drinking coffee, watching my fish swim around, ice pack on back cus I feel like the tin man when I wake up, and debating what snacky treats to eat while I zone out to mindless YouTube vids
I just finished a run… thinking I might do the beach or a movie

Went to a record fair, not particularly successful. Nearly died from the heat which was fun
Made cinnamon rolls with my boyfriend, researched new vehicles, hung out with a friend and her gorgeous doggie, had some powerful realizations about childhood and anger, slept half a day, made macaroni and cheese, and went to a bad@ss car/bike show! 🏁🏍🛞
If I could get season tickets to live my life Fast and Furious style every weekend, I wouldn't hesitate. 🖤

I am hosting the final July bookclub meeting this morning, which I'm excited for! And yesterday my partner took me out for sushi 😊
But that's about the only "fun" things I have going on. Everything else is more on the productive and satisfying side: iron infusion, then partner came over to help with some long-neglected cleaning due to my health stuff, then I napped. After bookclub I have my weekly at-home IgG infusion, which takes some prep and then sitting still for 1.5 hours, and I'm always a bit headachey and tired afterwards. But I'm so very grateful for both infusions as they vastly improve my quality of life! Well worth the time, effort, and minor side effects.
The event was really interesting. Apparently it has been going on for a while. Every Saturday they get a ton of people to sit at whatever table is learning their foreign language of choice. A good number of people showed up for Japanese. I don’t do well in group settings especially when I’m new and there’s drinking involved but it’s great to know so many people are interested in learning foreign languages.
I went on the new Aspen Falls slide(the yellow one) at night. You stand in a capsule and after a countdown, the floor drops from underneath you.

the pastor sent the kids with one of the adults because the sermon included the topics of r*pe and circumcision. Man if I was a woman in Bible times I think I would not want to be alive.
despite that it was a very boring sermon.
Ugh nope, nothing fun.
Continuing my luxurious stay at the hospital ... I even had 1st class transport by ambulance here Thursday. I am so painfully bored
