Best Ways To Approach A Pro?

I'm new and want to know the most respectful way I can approach a pro. What types of things would they like me to say when I send my first message? I get the feeling that it may not be proper for me to just ask them if we could book a session. For me, that would be a virtual session anyway, since I wouldn't be comfortable just jumping into an in person session, but still. I want to know the best way to do this.

There's no one best way. Some pros don't want any kind of messaging unless it's to book a session immediately, while others expect that you should have a substantive dialogue first. And there's a whole lot of opinions and expectations in between.

In general, I would tell you to carefully read her profile and follow any prompts she gives in it (i.e. "please say such and such in your first message to me"). And also generally, it shouldn't hurt if your first message to a pro directly (and politely) asks if she would consider a booking with you.

  • Just say hello and intro yourself ... Tell a little about yourself ask how their day or week is going. Let them know you're considering booking w cuddle session with them ... Doesn't hurt to let them know you're new as well.
Some pros do like to get more straight to the point but they'll let you know if that's the case. A lot of us like to get to know you as well.
Welcome to CC and Happy cuddling 🫂

  • @NathanAW a really brief intro about yourself followed by a clear message showing your interest in a session. That’s it.

A good pro will respond pretty quickly because they are doing this as a business. They will lead the rest of the conversation into an appointment.

  • This all sounds like good advice. Thanks for responding, @Jubal @MeltMyWay @ProfHermes

  • As long as you've read their bio and understand what they can or can't offer, you'll do just fine. A nice introduction like "Hi! How are you today? I looked through your bio and would be interested in booking a session with you." And maybe mention anything that stood out or that you want more information on.

@NathanAW love that you are being proactive and intentional about your research before contacting a Pro. You're getting some solid advice here. There really isn't a right or wrong way. The spectrum of how Pros like to be approached is very wide. I would suggest reading through some of the forums on topics that you find interesting or helpful. You'll find a ton of helpful people on here. The only thing I would add since this has come up, if you message a Pro and you don't get a reply don't sweat it. There are a bijillion reasons why they don't respond. No response is a response, just move on. I honestly think you are doing great already by reading through profiles and referencing details in your message. Welcome to Cuddle Comfort. I hope you meet wonderful people and have memorable experiences here. Happy Cuddling!

  • @Jubal nailed it.

Reading each individual's profile is number one. Many Pro's will be very specific on what they request or require, as well as what they don't want. Some will bury a code word for people to use, within the profile, to ensure prospective clients have read everything.

In case you also contact enthusiasts, I will also add...

Pro's often want just a picture, quick intro, and your preferred day/time, while enthusiasts are very frequently opposed to that very same approach, and lean more toward getting to know you, before wanting to talk about meeting.

You're doing great by showing a desire to approach people respectfully, and your profile is very sweet, @NathanAW!

  • Agreed with reading pro profiles.
Definitely don’t just send a booking request. Gives the wrong impression IMO.
Pros usually want to get to know the person a little bit before hand for both safety and comfort on our end.
    As others mentioned:
Just sending a simple introduction of yourself followed by a photo. Photos are always appreciated even if you already have one on your profile.
Maybe even throw in the intro something within the pros profile that made them stand out to you.

I’m more likely to respond to this type of effort over a “hello beautiful” or just some random booking request. Yes pros are making money but connecting is just as important.
    🤷🏽‍♀️🌱♥️🪶

  • Everyone has said what I would say, @NathanAW I do like that you’re being intentional and want to be respectful. Use that energy and you’ll be good.

    Enjoy!

  • @Jubal exactly
I personally prefer concise direct communication. Doesn’t have to be immediately about booking if you’ve got questions first. I just don’t like small talk, but surely other pros like that. We’re all just people with our own preferences.

  • Everyone is different. I like when people introduce themselves, maybe add a thoughtful comment re: my profile, reiterate that they understand my rules ( ph chat required prior to meeting) and then offer me a time they can speak and a few dates with windows of times they had in mind to cuddle.🤗 Being human goes a long way!

Logistics do play a role in all this so I most appreciate when ppl provide dates of their availability in the very first message or indicate if they’re unsure. And bonus points for ppl who actually give DATES rather than days.. which can be confusing 🫤.. ex: if you indicate Monday, which Monday?! ….lol 😂

  • Hello, I would say it's ok to ask directly because professionals are discouraged from initiating contact. So don't be shy to ask for a booking.

I always start with a simple "Hello". I've had pros who I think were offended that I just asked right away to book a session without properly introducing myself. And that is understandable because they need to look out for their own protection and make sure you're not some creep first, so I send a little Hello first then they'll do the talking from there.

Best Ways To Approach A Pro?

    ☺️

    @NathanAW 😁

    You'll need only 4 items:

    A warm blanket
    McDonald's Chicken Nuggets 🐔
    A boomerang 🪃
    Paper clips 🖇️

Lol! Now while you figure out how to work those out towards "Pro approaching"...😆😆😆

I strongly suggest that you take to heart what @Jubal said, that advice is more sensible than mine. 😜😆

    Good luck! 😁🫂

  • @Katota I think your suggestions are pretty solid as well, except for the nuggies. I rarely eat Chicken Nuggets, when I do they must be in Dinosaur form or it's no deal.

  • @TattooSqueeze 😆😆😆😆

  • Thanks to all those who have replied, good info.
