Seriously, that guy should be on a government watch list. WTF is wrong with some of the people on here? And, is there more context to this?

And making multiple accounts. Is there a way we can IP ban him?

@Wolf_Woman: LOL. Let us know how it goes!

Trolls can be fun to play with when you're bored. Nothing they say means anything, you can't believe a word they type, they'll throw insults or compliments and not really mean any of it—they're completely insincere. Sometimes that's fun. With someone like that, you don't have to be real, either. Wordplay, arguing for or against something just for the sake of the argument, taking on a false character and acting a part.... It's sort of relaxing.

But yeah, that isn't what this site is for, so banning trolls whenever they turn up seems like a good plan to me. It's not like there's ever going to be any lack of them! They're like spiders: cute, sure, but you have to squash them whenever you see them or else you'd be overrun.

Who made first contact, @Catloaf? I sent the first message in our little exchange (I didn't want to leave it up to him; he seemed a touch too busy trolling the forum to take initiative).

@MichaelFJudd @DarrenWalker This guy literally messaged me out of the blue, no previous interaction with this person. I don't even know what discussion of mine he's responding to. But I did get a bunch of people in my city banned the other day, who were joining in droves. One guy from CuddleUp got banned and came back, made a new profile with a similar username and different age the next morning, banned again. I told him he isn't smart. If it's this guy, he is salty. He probably changed his location, hence Australia. Or it could be the person from Australia who has been stalking my website and giving it some views the past few months.

Either way, super rapey and slimey. Yes, he needs to be IP banned whether those last couple lines are just troll talk or not. No place here if it is the same guy. Not to scare anyone, but back in my earlier days when I seriously disrespected this community, I was IP banned. Got my second chance and love y'all too much now to blow it. Here to say it is possible but that is up to the mods.

@Catloaf, I'm glad you were able to join the site properly. I like reading the stuff you write in the forums, and I think your profile's pretty cool. So. Thanks for not being a troll anymore!

  • @DarrenWalker Thank you ? Actually, I was probably closer to entirely bitter and jaded back then, due to some terribad experiences. Perhaps came off a liiiiittle trollish. But man have I 360'd in many ways this year, and am glad for it.

  • I wouldn’t troll them. I’d just block and ignore

  • so many questions and I don't even know where to start... hahaha.

    So... backstory?

  • @LiviuMarin There isn't one really, I just came home from work to a message from this whackadoodle. I don't even know what it's in response to or why someone in bloody Australia cares what I think. I think it may have been a local guy who I reported under two different accounts, and both times he got banned. This time maybe he changed his age and location, but oh well, banned again.

  • @chubbybunny cute name
@Catloaf I am glad you are here as well, I enjoy your reading your responses

I've had so many guys so far tell me that other women are willing to do a lot more than I'm willing to do. I love this site, I've met some great people, and I definitely want to stay on this site and keep professionally cuddling but it definitely gets frustrating when every guy I have a session with is surprised that I didn't do more than just cuddle.

  • edited November 2018

@Keira Oh, those are the worst. More than half the time they're lying though, and they're just trying to manipulate cuddlers into doing what they want by spinning stories of what the other girl did or didn't do. On other sites where there is no real policy it's worse, and there is definitely selling of sex going on under the table 90% of the time. That doesn't help because those people end up joining here too, and then they try harder to fly under the radar because of the no-tolerance policy. Out of consulting with and meeting maybe 100-200 potential clients over the last 2 years from various places on the net, I have only retained maybe a dozen regulars, and a few more that I get to see every few months when they pop in town. Unfortunately, that says a lot about what the perception is in my area of the world; the majority of people I have seen only booked once and never again, possibly (amongst other reasons) because I didn't "mask off" like they expected I would. We're so, so misunderstood.

  • [Deleted User]Keira (deleted user)

@Catloaf That makes sense... I wondered if he might have just been saying that to try to get me to do more. I had a really sweet customer tell me that a girl actually tried to get him to pay her for sex. It's sad for the men too because I'm sure there are a lot of men on here who really do just want to be held, have their back rubbed, be close in a sensual way, and the last thing people who are seeking out companionship out of loneliness need is for someone to try to sell them sex. Real intimacy to me is a lot more personal/real/sensual, and less about the sex. I just don't see the appeal of forced/paid for sex. But Most of my clients so far have been respectful. I've actually really loved every customer I've had so far. I've met a lot of really honest, sweet down to earth men on here and I'd love to cuddle them again, I'm hoping they come back to me regularly cause a couple of them I could see myself having a genuine friendship with. But, like you were saying, probably takes a lot longer for girls unwilling to have sex for money to get regulars. Luckily, most of the people who are trying to hit it and quit it instead of having the whole experience (talking, cuddling, holding hands, watching movies, etc) have made it clear early on so I didn't waste too much time there. The site managers seem like great people too, it seems like they're really on top of things as far as keeping this site platonic. @Catloaf If you don't mind me asking, do you do this full time? It's gone well enough so far for me that I'm considering having this as my primary job.

  • @Keira
While your point is sincere I would be very, very careful treading on the assumption that folks simply seeking sensual closeness are not seeking anything sexual. Sensualism is one of the clearest gateways to the sexual. It is definitely in territory where professional cuddlers need to make a clear distinction between what is offered and what is not. When sensualism is brought into the mix, you are essentially helping clients who have sexual expectations bridge the gap between them and the thing you do not provide. This community will also misconstrue your point very easily, though I see you are relatively new and will learn more as you go along. I am not going to be condescending, because I have been in your spot with that exact same perception, but do not cater to sensualism. Just don't do it. It will not do any more favours for you in protecting you and your boundaries.

To answer your original question, I only did this "full time" for about 9 months, but that wasn't really a choice I deliberately made because I believed I could support myself on it. My city is absolutely dead in this industry, and I am lucky to get 5 bookings a month. Some months are entirely silent. Some seasons busier than others. If I relied on just cuddling to pay for any bills, I know for sure that we'd be evicted and on the streets! LOL.

But anyway, I took a year-long break after working a management job I hated. I stayed there for close to 4 years, taking only one 2-week vacation, and I can count on one hand how many sick days I took in that time period. I was lucky that my husband could support us in the meantime, and I could try to get more in touch with myself which cuddling has really helped me do. Like I said though, it isn't really lucrative where I live even if you are certified, and I definitely can't put that on a resume. It's just another way for me to stay in touch with people at the most human level in my spare time, and at the same time to exercise that part of me which is entreprenuerial. Over the last year, I've just been trying to solidify my image, and decide what I really want this to look like and ultimately what I really want it to be. I have a long way to go.

I got kind of tired sitting at home, doing chores, and advertising day in- day out, so I did end up finding work a few months ago at a job I like much, much more than the last one I held. When I see my clients I am ultimately helping them, but for me it's like a little reminder that someone values my service more in the space of me being a caring person rather than an effective number or a good worker. If I could do this full-time with nothing else at the helm, you bet your bottom I would. But I'd need to move to somewhere like Vancouver or Toronto in that case, and even still, you are competing with the undeniable preference of the well-established sex industry. I think no matter where you go, or what population a place has, there will still be very few people who really understand this and so seek it out. Many cuddlers, particularly well-known ones who do this full-time "successfully", still have a main gig or a main practice - many are professional coaches who have backgrounds in health and wellness or psychology. If you are a blue collar worker, hell, even white collar and thinking of getting into it full-time... be very, very careful. If my husband were not around to support us during my mental health break, I certainly couldn't have gone that long without a job, no matter how much effort I was putting into my stuff!

I may be back at work but I'm still in full swing with this thing. I intend to never give it up no matter what I've got going on. It's one way I can stay connected to the many things I've felt distanced from for years (communication, expression, creativity, connection, people) and helping others with the same. You will hear many pros talk about how they are in this work for others and not themselves, but I think there is a larger point in that which is being missed. It's possible to have a job where doing that job awakens parts of you which have been shut down for a long time. When work does that for you, it is always work that is worth doing. For me, that is cuddling! But I can't do it alone, because it isn't a type of work I can survive on.

  • [Deleted User]Keira (deleted user)

Oh, I think it's just my definition of "sensualism" - I just meant I'm fine with a man giving me head scratches or even lightly caressing or rubbing my back. But I understand what you mean. Definitely have to be careful not to turn him on too much. Even holding hands in my opinion is a bit sensual. Or maybe intimate is a better word for it. :) And that makes sense, and I agree, It really does me some good as well because I'm single and I've missed the cuddling aspect of being in a relationship. I can go long periods of time without sex, but, I get a little sad when I go too long without cuddling. Cuddling has the same effect on me too. I've only been a professional cuddler for about a week now but I've already noticed a big improvement in my over all daily mood. It really is healing for both me and for my clients as well. And so far my clients have been really honest, sweet, funny, down to earth people and the social aspect of it alone is wonderful.

  • [Deleted User]SweetPeaMN (deleted user)

You know, I've gotten a lot of guys telling me the same thing and being put off by the fact that nothing happened other than cuddles. Not even groping! ;)

I've talked to others who have told me at the beginning that they'd made out with or actually had sex with other professionals and enthusiasts. But the way I view that is goody for them, I'm an amateur and Busy. Feel free to go back where you came from!

So far none of the ones I've cuddled have come back for another, even after I got tired of the grinding and creeping hands and put them in a nurture position. All of them actually relaxed and enjoyed the cuddle then but haven't wanted to get together again.

Hmmmm....... ........ if they had so many others allow it whyre they looking for a new body?? If they were having their needs actually met elsewhere ?

  • @Catloaf, I’m so sorry that happened to you. @allfemaleusers, I’m so sorry trolls target you like this. You are untouchable. You are powerful and strong. Their quivering little egos will suffocate under your smothering disinterest. Big hugs to you. Stay gold.

Ate a lot of cookies and now kind of in a trolling mood.

    clears throat

Hey! This is a dating site right? Any hot girls wanna go out on a date?

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

I am totally a hot girl and would love to go out on a date. Dates are pretty small, but my name's Thumbelina, so that works for me! Will you be bringing your own dates, or should I buy a bag?

  • [Deleted User]chococuddles (deleted user)

    What luck!

I'm Tom Thumb! I was a bit hesitant to post on here because I know people have preferences.

M'lady, I shall be arriving on a ladybug.

  • [Deleted User]DarrenWalker (deleted user)

    Splendid!

One thing: if we hit it off, I absolutely decline to live in a shoe.

My current residence is an old dollhouse. It's a bit big, but I get very few intruding toes. And there's an attached garage/stable for your scarlet steed, m'lord!

No stableboy, though. Sorry about that.
