After reading his bad karma, I feel like there's more to this story as well..
That’s the most bad karma for one person that I’ve seen in awhile.
Yeah that’s actually pretty wild. Bad karma is so rare.
I have never seen bad karma before on this site.
It does rather seem like a pattern of miscommunication and retaliatory bad karma. Makes me wonder if this is another instance.
But as @JediJ said - if you suspect someone is a fake account or scammer AND have some form of evidence to provide to mods, report them. Accounts won't be removed solely on hearsay, but absolutely do get removed if there is supporting evidence.
A few red flags.
On the site for a considerable amount of time with little or no karma Cuddlers who cancel within a day of the cuddle. Worst are within an hour or two or even after time the cuddle was supposed to start.
@sfcuddling being on the site for a long time with little to no karma is not a red flag for fake accounts. A LOT of people joined during the pandemic and then forgot about the site. There's also a lot of people who have not gotten up the courage to meet someone, or they just haven't met compatible partners yet. None of those are against the rules or signs of a scam.
As for cuddlers that cancel on short notice - life happens and while inconvenient, most people try to extend flexibility as they'd hope they would receive if the situation was reversed. Even someone who chronically cancels isn't necessarily a scammer, particularly if no money has exchanged hands. And if someone cancels after being late/no-showing, then it seems more like a compatibility issue than some sort of scam.
If there is a pro taking deposits, then cancelling, then not refunding - absolutely report that. But someone having poor time management or being a lurker are not report worthy. And if you have a poor experience with a cuddler, but they didn't actually break any rules, that is what karma is for.
