  • Anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or feels off is a red flag. And it’s different for everyone. The fact that you ask about this means your instinct senses something’s odd. Trust that instinct.

  • And if they try and convince you you shouldn’t feel that way, then they are gaslighting you.

  • I wouldn’t feel comfortable with it. I’m surprised this request doesn’t go against TOS though because of attire? Idk. To each their own I suppose. I wouldn’t be surprised if some people had good intentions while asking for it, those can be relaxing and rejuvenating experiences. But I have been asked to do this and it wasn’t for me. Cuddling already can be sweaty, I don’t need a sauna actively make me uncomfortable and sweaty lol

  • It depends on the type of spa. There are some here in L.A. that have tons of lounge areas even beautiful rooftop views. Every one is given a T-shirt and shorts to wear. The pools are not coed only places like salt rooms and some.other sensory healing rooms where you're completely clothed. The one here in thinking of is called wi spa I believe. And I know there's another like it. You pay a flat fee of like 35 and have 24 hours of access to it. If it's this style I would definitely be comfortable.

  • Hope they weren’t trying to be a creep… I would give them the benefit of the doubt while still refusing if it’s something you have any hesitation about or would just rather not do for any reason. Seems like it’s probably been decided on already though. Hmm

  • I was originally thinking red flag situation, until I read @MeltMyWay post. I’ve done this multiple times at a similar local spa, named king Spa. Strictly platonic and fun. Everybody would be Social in the sitting areas. There are multiple sauna rooms and non coed water spa areas. It was very enjoyable. This was with a local cuddle group.

I didn’t read the original post but the title is concerning (and major 🚩🚩) since cuddling in swimwear is against TOS - or at least it was. I knew of a pro who was offering hot tub cuddles. She was banned immediately.

But in the situation that @MeltMyWay shared it seems nice and relaxing so clarification would be necessary.

@MelNYC Wouldn't it be most important to trust your own judgement first? Even if he's legit, and the environment is kosher, if you're uncomfortable, it's going to be a less then ideal situation for all... and does anyone legit, as a client, pro, or enthusiast, ever really want to be in a cuddle situation where their partner is uncomfortable?
With that said... I do prefer the opportunity to connect, in public, with my pro cuddler first. Hopping straight into bed with someone I just met is strange enough as it is for me. But I would never personally suggest a spa for that interaction, unless my cuddle partner had independently expressed a specific interest in doing so.
