Just curious, with the holiday season right around the corner. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years has anyone had a session during one of those days? The reason I'm asking is because about 2 years ago I was chatting with a pro that I had had sessions with before and she wished me an early happy birthday since my birthday is on Christmas Eve. And we asked each other what we were doing for the holiday and she said she wasn't flying back home and was just going to stay in town. And I said well do you want to have a session on Christmas Day cuz no one should be by themselves on that day. She agreed and we had a wonderful time.. So is anyone ever had a session over one of these holidays?

    I usually help a friend who is in a wheelchair on Thanksgiving and Christmas/Christmas Eve. She needs help at her brother's house out in the country. I suppose that would leave me time for a session if I could schedule it around football 😉

    I’d love to do one on New Years since I haven’t gone out for NYE for the last 3 years.

    Not personally, but the answer is an emphatic yes. (I have had enthusiast meetings at such times.)

    There are more people than you think who are alone during such holidays, or accept an invitation out of desperation. Obviously many professionals will not be offering sessions for the obvious reason, but some absolutely do and others - who may have wrongly assumed that no client would want one - would definitely consider it.

    Always worth asking gently and respectfully.

    Other years I would of been very happy to. This past year I actually was in Denver with my brothers family. Someone asked but it wasn't really truly going to be convenient for me and we couldn't come to terms to make it work. But the 3 years prior I spent alone and would of been happy to and honestly will prob of offered a heavy discounts if it was a holiday I had no plans for. I wonder if anyone would be interested in a "misfit" holiday gathering this year. Great post @jonnyquest

    I haven't done a holiday but I have cuddled on my birthday/birthday weekend.

    I’ve booked a cuddle during birthday weekend. Planned a turkey day cuddle with an ex girlfriend. 2 years ago I reached out to a pro about Christmas, especially since I knew she would be alone. I had problems the year before because that was the first holiday with all immediate family passed away. With the pro I bet I might have a problem I’d like to meet up. I ended up being too depressed to do anything.

    Holidays have been very hard since 2023. No immediate family, plus last year I started dating again. Yet both partners go away together. So I’ve still been alone.

    I make a point of cuddling on Christmas. Not so much Halloween or nye.

    I’ve done sessions on every holiday. Last Halloween I arrived to a cuddle all dressed up as a witch 🧙‍♀️

    I don’t celebrate thanksgiving, so I’m happy to cuddle that whole weekend every year.
