@patTheCuddler: I know, right? So many people think the whole introversion/extroversion thing is about whether you like being around people or not, but it's actually just about what recharges you and what drains your batteries.

Most people are a mix, but lean one way or the other. So, for example, my mom sometimes gets energized from spending time with friends... but usually it leaves her exhausted and wanting to be alone for a while. She's an introvert (with a touch of extroversion). Then there's one of my sisters, who usually gets a real energy boost from social interaction (she'll be bouncing off the walls after her friends visit). But sometimes, rarely, it wears her out. She's an extrovert (with a touch of introversion).

I'm pretty much 100% introverted. I like hanging out with people and having a good time! It's just that it seriously drains my energy and wears me right out. That's all "introverted" means.

It’s frequently going down with technical errors recently

    @vinnunnnnnnn

There's been significant work on Cuddler Search performance which has implications on server resources. So over the last week there have been a few moments of downtime while we optimise configs and experiment with hardware spec.

It was down earlier today for a couple of minutes and perhaps yesterday briefly too. We're talking 2-3 mins per day during this period so it should be minimal impact to you. But if you're experiencing something happen more frequently then let me know more as it could be something related that I'm not seeing.

EDIT: Actually there was a major downtime event that occurred on 12 Jan for around 1 hour. That was unrelated to the above works and did have a real impact.

  • One improvement that can be made is in true privacy of photographs. You can visit a Cuddlers profile, and if you have rheir permission to see friends or private photos, simply download them And use them however you care to.
So there’s actually no real privacy.

@85South You've identified an issue with the Internet, not this website. It doesn't matter what website you're on and the potential superficial measures they have, once you see an image in your browser you can store it locally for later use.

There was a misconfiguration with the firewall that blocked people out over the last hour. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Maybe offer discount vouchers for driving people to the site, maybe after they get a cuddle or two with karma you get $5 off a pro cuddle.

  • [Deleted User]SoulcuddlerZ (deleted user)

@freddyfoxx I'm not too sure about that one. It's well possible for users to receive karma from standard/non-pro users and/or receive negative karma, among other things. It also runs the risk of driving negative people here, which would not be desired.

  • @SoulcuddlerZ that’s fair, just a thought

Get rid of profiles inactive more than 30 days

  • Please ftlog add the location next to usernames in the inbox (and people have also requested in the forums as well). Thanks ? I talk to people from so many locations and travel and it is crazy frustrating to go into every message from every person I don't recall their location in every 26 pages of my inbox ? I have a table for all clients I have seen, so those are easy, but I have tons of inquiries from people I haven't seen yet. I've tried to start a list for even people I haven't seen, but I don't want to miss anyone. So much complaining about pros who don't respond and I am trying very hard to be thorough, but it is frustrating. ?

I’m sure this has already been suggested but I would like to be able to search for people in other areas without having to change the location on my own profile. I travel from time to time.

Profiles shouldn’t be watched, and mosderation should lay easy. My friend mentioned the type of drugs she did in her profile and got banned..for describing them??? Also we shouldn’t have to be careful about what we say..and why is it so hard to be a professional? And why is acceptance so less likely, it’s like you’re trying to find new clients and it’s hard because they get turned down :(

  • I don’t know if this was mentioned before,

I thought it would be neat if there was a counter of - how many are online at the moment viewing the website ,and are they visitors or registered

It'd be cool if we could rearrange our pictures. That way I could move the most recent ones of me to the front (and put all my bookcases together).

@DarrenWalker I'll get that done fairly soon and update this thread.

@JLM You can already do that via Search filters below the 'Distance' drop-down field.

  • I think there should be an extra optional box, maybe called Geographical Reach, and have under it the choices Home, Local and Travel. Why? There are some who strictly want their home to host in, some who will go locally and finally those of us who travel all over for work. The last one is the kicker, because no matter how much you tell people you will actually be in their city, I get people who come back with “well you are 600 miles away so no”. Maybe the box can educate those who do not understand that many of us do go to other places frequently.

I say this while sitting in another airport.

I was wondering instead of closing discussions , like the most recent “ Accurate pics” discussion , perhaps the discussion be left open , with restrictions such as

Existing posters in the discussion are blocked from further postings in the thread . I’m sure some kind of mechanism can be created to do that.
Some of the more diplomatic contributors don’t log in daily , weekly , and I’m sure they would want to give an opinion .
Of course , someone could always start up a new discussion just like it

  • @cuddlerforu24 You know what they say about a few bad apples (and this is coming from someone who has been a bad apple from time to time)

  • edited February 2019

@pmvines.. so you’re agreeing. Let’s keep the lid open on the Apple basket , and let more in .
And you know what birds of a feather do ( think about that)

  • Too new to criticize but don’t like the subject of this post. It should rather say Opportunities to make this site better. That’s all for now.

  • @cuddlygirlhugs Criticisms can be productive. Not all criticisms are opportunities and not all opportunities are wise. If you want to parse words without negative connotations then I think “suggestions” is the better word. Opportunities gives the appearance that all ideas are opportunities and that is not always the case.

  • @FunCartel - Umm. I can live with suggestion but IMHO ctriticism sounds so negative especially in Cuddle world.

  • Not sure if it's been mentioned (sorry not going back to page 1 considering we're on page 36...), but I think a huge benefit to the community at large on this site would be that the User Agreement, ToS, whatever it's called is a REQUIRED read before your profile is created - not just a check box "I agree" but an actual quiz you have to take in response to questions regarding the rules, policies, etc... and they have to pass with 100% or no profile. Perhaps even an annual renewal requirement?

I for one would be happy to apply 15-20 mins of my time to clear some of the riff-raff from the site - if the initial hurdle to get in is applied effort, just imagine the number of trolls and creepers that wouldn't bother? And it would make calling people on it soooo easy! lol. Just my thoughts based on being here for a few months.

  • @TouchIsTLC I don’t know about that one . I think a determined creep will take the quiz and get in . What’s worse , someone who is vulnerable, I mean really vulnerable might get taken in by a false sense of security, and get injured by some low life SOB

  • @cuddlerforu24 isn't that already the case? I think it would weed out more creeps than not and it doesn't mean to let down your guard for those that are here for the right reasons, in particular those that are vulnerable - stay diligent.

There aren't really any fool-proof solutions to vetting or regulation - look at the number of complaints and convictions of doctors, dentists, psychiatrists, priests, etc... for sexual misconduct, rape, etc.. ?!?! (listed positions with a huge amount of regulatory credentialing, certification and in theory positions of trust - not meant to be exhaustive or wholly inclusive, nor to specifically target the individual professions specifically.

  • How about a hand written application ? .. then thw website sends to application to a writing analyzer. You can filter out some more . ( of course the creeps are now getting out their third grade penmanship books and practicing)

  • Where have you been @cuddlerforu24 ? Most schools in the U.S. no longer teach penmanship. The big business types who control our education system couldn’t figure out how to do a multiple-choice test on penmanship, so it has been dropped from the curriculum.

  • @mickcuddle ..oh? I didn’t
    Know that

  • I’m sure it’s been suggested but up votes or likes on comments
