I'm getting ready to take my old conv. out for a ride, the weather man is saying high today of 80 !!!!!!, I love FL., conv. weather year around, it does have A/C for those HOT summer days if needed. Happy New Year to all, and all the northerners stay WARM !!

Just resting. I had a tree removal crew here, taking down 3 trees for me and I very large tree for my neighbor. I had to leave for about 45 minutes for a medical appointment nearby. By the time I returned, they had shattered one of my windows with a large tree branch that “jumped up” when they cut it. I went into the yard to look at it and fell down on packed snow, hurting my upper arm and opposite knee as I fell on my Ipad smashing the screen. Argh!!!!
@mickcuddle: That is so much bad in such a short time that I have to either laugh or cry. I think I'm going to go with "laugh." That is awful. Talk about Murphy's Law!
I'm getting ready to work on some more watches.
Having my afternoon mocha and wondering why no birds are coming to the new bird feeder I set up. I think it may be because most of the birds that come into my garden are too big to fit on the feeder. But I was hoping to get some smaller birds like finches.
I'm resting my back and snuggling kitties. I threw my back out Thursday, and now I'm slowly getting around, but lunch and dollar store shopping with a friend earlier has me back in the bed.
Desperately trying to get to sleep but I don't think it's happening ?

I've already have decided that I will create the puzzle piece and paint it if I lost one. I've a holiday party since starting it and three cats here ?? I'm too invested in it now

In my living room, in a 7 person student home, where I have... -Been sexually assaulted. -Done the work of a maid service, and property manager, without pay or appreciation for 7 months. -Had to take dangerous jobs from kijiji, because several months worth of groceries have been stolen. -Come home to find my door unlocked at all hours.
Now I'm being kicked out, by the students, and must leave by the 31st. I have no idea where i'm going to stay, and my friends and family all give excuses, for why they can't put me up. for soooome, reason... I have the sneaking suspicion, that at least some of this, has to do with my recently, and suddenly announced, gender transition.
Now I'm fasting, I haven't eaten all day, and don't plan to, until I know where I'm going next.

Listening to the song @QuinsCuddles linked and considering my new copy of The Chronicles of Chrestomanci (volume 3). It's a bit more used than I'd expected, but it'll still match the other two books just fine. After I leave a review on Amazon, I'll see about fixing myself something to eat—and then I should start getting my workroom set up. The last of the boxes finally made it over today.
I'm not going to do any of that unpacking and sorting after I have lunch, of course. I'm going to read my new book instead. But you'll note that I do know what I should be doing... and hey. I can always set stuff up later.
