@laylanie oh my...ridiculously funny thank you. And yes my milkshake is often noticed by people who have no business digging around the dragons lair!
@ohiomike agreed. There does seem to be a rash of blocking going on, I've noticed that myself. Besides there is that handy little 'delete conversation' link next to each message. No one knows if you've read the message, and much like texting they are easily ignorable by clicking on it to rid the red outline or just clicking delete. I often wonder why exactly they are blocking me and from what? They can see my posts here still, they can still visit MY page if they chose, so what exactly is the purpose? I actually had one person across the country tell me "they" feared for "their" safety and that's why I was blocked. Does that make sense to anyone else? That person has a almost fully blank profile so what is there to fear from a 63 inch woman land locked at the top of the country? Oh well....
This site is feeling more and more like a middle school lunchroom by the week.
@PaulaDahla "This site is feeling more and more like a middle school lunchroom by the week." Well, "boys will be boys"
Ha ha ha ??
Yes they will.
As will the Ladies.
@PaulaDahla I absolutely agree with you on the side thought of rash blocking. Very amusing to think the reasons why they could possibly feel that much animosity to block typically (as in 80/20 ratio) someone you had minimum to no contact with. Lol... Nothing off my back. It's their right to choose. I move on. ???
^^ .....this woman. ?
Sounds like you may have already experienced some of that.
.....I knew ai liked you!
The forums have encourage blocking in some cases where a user is in some way abusive. But I wonder whether all the talk of blocking may have prompted some users to use the feature more, though not necessarily for good cause.
It could be @mickcuddle I remember it being suggested as if it was the next cure all or something. Someone says something you don't like? Block. Tired of seeing that one person in you're searches? Block. Stop looking at my page!! Block! I only know of one person who has blocked me and I think they deleted their account anyways. Otherwise I rarely block a person. They would have to be so offensive that I need to feel unsafe, but by that point a reporting would serve better. If the person chooses to block everyone then that's fine that they want to use the site in that way. Now if they blocked and still complain that they can't find someone on these forums then I might lose my mind... [Sigh]
On topic of blocking, I saw yesterday I was blocked by a paid cuddler. Not sure why as we have never had any sort of interaction, She is new, and posted that she was discouraged that nobody seemed to take any interest in hiring her. So I was going to send her a message in an attempt to be encouraging and saw I was blocked. Go figure, I mean, what if I had wanted to book a session, then her post about nobody wanting to hire her would have been self induced....
