Listening to my kind of 70's music:
@UKGuy I love it! I don't think I've ever heard that one before and the flute player?! Totally 70's!! So along with @laylanie's comment on mine I just have to go there sorry....!
Laylanie, I think we know who's who here! ah haha
Hiked 10 miles around Pittock Mansion today with a gal friend and her two pups. ??
Reading Please Don't Tell My Parents I'm a Super Villain. It's fun!
Trying to feel less lonely listening to music.
Lounging in a hotel room in Dallas.
@DarrenWalker ... And now I have something to Google. ?
@Lorelei: I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Sure, it could use a bit more editing (grammar, some typos, misspellings), but the story itself is excellent. Accidental twelve-year-old supervillains are so much fun when done right.
On topic: I'm watching the second season of 1996 Sabrina the Teenage Witch and fixing myself some breakfast. Salem's voice actor is hilarious to listen to. It's tough talking for a cat puppet! He makes up for the lack of facial mobility by putting a ton of melodrama into his voice. Just... so much ham. It's great.
Just watched Justin Gaethje knock out Edson Barboza in the main event of UFC on ESPN 3 from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Enjoying a few moments of free time by crocheting with headphones on, listening to Water is Life by Tinariwen.
Procrastinating on studying for an exam because I'm on here reading through the forums lol
Watching the finale of The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix and browsing this site.
Watching some true crime stuff on Netflix. I've also been listening to the Trace Evidence podcast today, which just posted a new episode. That stuff is like crack to me.
Trying to process that the oracle told me I was the one.
@FunCartel: Better see if you can get more specifics. Those oracles tend to be almost malevolently vague when it comes to those prophecies. Oh, I'll destroy "a great empire" if I go to war with that great empire over there, huh? Maybe mention that the great empire you had in mind was mine!
Looking at the clouds from my back yard.
Watching A Bastardized Version of Grindcore on the interweb
Watching the sun set from a cliff top.
Technically, anyone who was responding to this question would have to truthfully answer "responding to this question".
@HappinessHenry: Or we could say "breathing."
@DarrenWalker
Or “slowly dying.”
Anyways, I just remembered that I have an uneaten pizza in my fridge. I actually forgot this piece of information, and was about to consume some muesli.
The choice is clear.
@HappinessHenry Lol true! So yeah, I'm responding to this question and watching a Netflix original movie called "Close".
@hogboblin: So. True.
Aside from all those other things, I'm making salad. Ham, nuts, hard-boiled egg.... It's gonna be a good one.
@DarrenWalker @Hobgoblin "Ham, nuts and hard boiled (eggs)". What a great subtitle for participants in/contents of these forums (totally including myself under the ham AND nuts descriptions by the way).
I discovered drabbles a few hours ago. A drabble is a type of flash fiction where the piece contains exactly 100 words. I have since written one of my own, which I’ll post here for the pleasure of all.
A spaceman was caught in the old tree atop the hill. Matthew watched from his bedroom window as the figure struggled to free itself from the branches. Things were made difficult by a cable that stretched upward, connecting the alien to a cloud that was, clearly, not a cloud.
Matthew ran outside, covering the distance between the farmhouse and the hill in a flash. He faltered at the tree’s base, staring at the being from another world. It shattered in a shotgun blast. The cloud bolted skyward.
Matthew’s father grunted, ejected the spent shells, and spat. “No tresspassin’.”
Watching college national basketball championship game from my hospital bed. In for observation.
@respectful love the pics but you already now that!
@Esquire take care, hope all is well.
@Esquire Hospital or Mental Hospital?
@Hobgoblin
Thanks. Here's mine.
THE FORUM
Many of the men had forgotten why they came there in the first place. And some, even their own names. Some of the younger men would bait them by trying to attract their attention with a list of ludicrously implausible first names, such as Daphne, Serum, Metastasize and Fido.
However on Thursday nights, when it came to the Tracks section of the Ephemera Nights and the specialist subject was Popular Music of the 21st Century, Keith Richards, although he was by far one of the oldest participants, at over two hundred years old, would almost always win out.
I made mole (moh-lay) with goat meat and I'm eating the last of it. It's really good.
