Right now, I am wishing I were content and asleep, whilst I sit in my glider rocker. What I would give for a good night's sleep and warm arms to fall asleep in. One can always dream . That is I would if I could fall asleep. Its 4:30a in NY. I hope folks in the West are feeling better and soon to head off to fluffy warm blankets and those across the Ocean are already enjoying their days.

Saturday morning for me: breakfast, doing a bit of house cleaning after, then I hope to take a walk or short hike today, the weather is supposed to be friendly and it recently rained so maybe I'll see some waterfalls.

Coming off of Lent, surviving the weekend with no phone, and comforting my little catloaf who finally got spayed two days ago. She won't stop laying on my stepdad's prayer rug. Every time I go to move her, she goes back to it and assumes loaf position. I think she is trying to get right with Bastet.

At this very moment, I am waiting for my laptop to register the keys I'm hitting. I think the latest Windows update may have been the penultimate nail in this thing's coffin—I don't think it'll survive another one. Fifteen minutes to boot up (and shut down) is way too long....
