    You're accusing Lord Christ himself of being a sinner, then, if you issue a blanket statement like that. Look at John 13:25 - "He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?". Jesus and the disciple John were cuddling at the Last Supper. Was that a mild form of homosexual fornication?

    Of course not. Friends then and there did that often and it wasn't seen as anything strange or sexual. Compared to most cultures, our's has a big hang-up about touch.

    Now don't get me wrong, there are ABSOLUTELY people here using it as a mild form of prostitution because they get jollies from this sort of thing. Perhaps even the majority of men. But for some, it genuinely isn't sexual. I decided to join after losing my closest family member - there's an unbearable emotional abyss left after that, and it certainly isn't a sexual one. I'm willing to pay so that it can be slightly filled for a few hours instead of being perpetually open and gnawing

    So like John 7:24 says, "Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly". What happens here may appear bad at times, but often is innocent. I'm not naive enough to say that that's the case even most of the time, but there unquestionably are times.

    If you think that it's a lust issue for you, then you're a great looking guy and I bet you could definitely find a woman to fulfill that sort of need! I'd kill to have the jaw you got bro! And there are lots of sites for those kinda relationships!

    If you're struggling with pornography then that might explain this. Those degenerate fleshpeddlers sexualize every activity and interaction: even delivering a pizza is a sexual thing in that! And of course ANY sort of touch they turn into something debased - look at what their media says about massages and the goal of that touch!

    @GloveFitter93 yes, these are interesting points. While she might have had other major mental issues, there was a women that blew up because a couple displayed a little pda while they waited for their order at a restaurant. It was chaotic. There are places in the world where even a hug between opposite sexes isn’t allowed. It’s troubling.

    As a Christian who loves God, and as a cuddler for 1.5 years, and having researched this thing carefully resulting in this I can say... platonic cuddling is pretty much the opposite of prostitution. The intention is not to arouse or make things sexual (at all), but to provide comfort, nurture, connection, touch therapy and a safe place for people who want to cuddle without anything extra.

    As for pornography ... dealing with a real life person rather than a fantasy might actually be helpful in that area, and help to relate to women as just "human beings in female form" as @SJSpooner once said.

    Here's something to reflect on as a Christian thinking about whether to try out cuddling.

    My advice is, don't go against your conscience. Before cuddling someone, settle the issue of whether platonic cuddling is genuinely what it claims to be (platonic = non sexual in this context). Because going into it thinking you are "soliciting" and seeing them as a form of prostitute is really unhealthy. No one on this site (who is here for the right reasons) wants to be seen that way.

    @Cozytimes1212 my guy, this is not what this is about. I mean it’s on the cusp of it but when you think about the need being provided in prostitution it can likely be solved with legal practices. Actually innocent practices that provide the need that is truly sought out here.
    I didn’t read all the previous comments so I’m sorry if i repeated, but it can be a therapeutic thing, because i can be honest about my thoughts. I don’t want a sexual relationship with another person i don’t spend the rest of my life with BUT I’d love to have connections with someone that keeps me calm.

Brothers in Christ, even.

    Find guys you can snuggle up with the way Jesus and John did. Avoid even the slightest chance of temptation by only forging platonic bonds with people you'd never want a sexual bond with.
