A lot of men are looking at my profile. Why is that? I list myself as straight and only interested in women. It makes me a little uncomfortable.
More men coming through... lol.
Posting about it will get more men visiting you for a while, and most likely women, as well.
Maybe you visited them. Maybe they saw you around the forums and wanted to see who's posting. On certain devices we can't see your picture, etc., on the forum. So, we visit. I don't know. Why it's uncomfortable for you, it's just a visit.
Some times, people just want to check out the new 'kid' in town, as well. Or maybe get inspiration from other men's profiles.

They might be looking at women's profiles and then check out her friends. It doesn't mean they are looking for a man.

Makes you uncomfortable people looking at your profile? Wow, I’d hate to know what you think of people looking at you in the street/shops/anywhere.
These are some of my favorite posts. It always amuses me to think of the OPs staring at their list of visitors, shaking their heads and sweating nervously.
I look all kinds of profiles for all kinds of reasons. So I don’t really question why anybody looks at mine. OP should realize that simply by looking at a photo, users cannot tell who you welcome as a cuddle partner. They need to read your profile.

As an independent learner and writer, I view profiles for ideas and inspirations. The gender of the person plays no bearing in my searches.
There's no harm in it. If you can't deal with it then don't be social.
@babestorm @drydorn has a right not to want to cuddle men, if he does not want to cuddle men. I am with him on that. However, being bothered by the simple fact that a man has viewed his profile is odd, to say the least.

On a phone your pic does not show nor your gender etc unless you click on your profile and your user name is rather ambiguous. Also folks may click just to simply put a face with or find out about who they see on the forum . Also I often go on folks profile by accidentally clicking on while typing or scrolling.

It’s hilarious and sad that this isn’t the first time such a thread has popped up.
It makes me think of a time when I went to IHOP. Seated across from me was a family of four; the parents, a young girl, and a younger boy. The children sat opposite each other.
The little girl greatly enjoyed staring at her brother in a creepy manner. At first he’d laugh and squeal in delight. But, as time went on, he began to whine.
“Stop looking at me. Stop. Stop. Stop it. STOP LOOKING AT ME. Staaaaahp. S-s-stop it, dummy!”
A parent intervened after awhile. The girl did stop, for a time, but then she continued.
“DOING IT AGAIN. STOOOOP. Stop it!” He began to sniffle. “Stop...Stop...Stop looking at me. Stop it.” The boy released a primal howl. “SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYAAAAAAHSTOP IT.” And then he began to sob.
“ABLOO BLOO BLOO.”
That’s what I envision whenever one of these threads makes an appearance.
Come on. It's not a big deal to me, either. Though, he has the right to his discomfort. He's new, and seeking to understand why this is happening. I think he gets the point now. I once also questioned along the lines of: "Why people from "across the world" are visiting/messaging me." Then, I came to understand how things worked around here.

@Lovelight interesting, so like an accent for animals ? I also heard cats meow sound is strictly an invention for talking with humans . When interacting with each other or other animals they don't do it , only with us

@pmvines I suppose so. Yes, I think I heard about it long ago. Not sure. I think they do it just maybe not as often, and in the same manner. I have limited experience with cats. Though, I am sure they meow when they fight... each other. Pretty sure I heard them. ?
Edit: Though, I long ago watched a documentary about dogs, and cats, etc., in it I think I heard that: cats developed their 'verbal communication' in order to better interact with us. end of edit.
@PleasantlyPunk lol. Not sure, gotta do more research. I actually remembered that I heard it with cows... this was like ages ago, so my memory was cloudy. Though, I think it applies to various animals. ?
