Like many here, I'm in a position where I am unable to host. If I had my own space, I would but as I share space with my family, live in a relatively dangerous area, own two massive dogs with very giant mouths and very pointy teeth, I don't imagine people are flocking to come visit me in my home.
On top of that, like others have pointed out, someone knowing where I live and by extension my family puts not only me but them at risk. I have two younger brothers that I will and absolutely must protect hence why I am unable to do any sort of hosting.
@DimpleDoll exactly !! I can think of a couple folks on here while they presented as normal and sane , proved themselves to actually be quite unstable . Def not the kind if folks I want showing up at my door!!
@BashfulLoner So much cleanup ?
@drydorn I am a Pro, who hosts. I have a separate room dedicated entirely to cuddling.
If you ever find yourself in Australia, or in the US when I'm touring-I'd love to host you.
Perhaps some Pro's can't host because they are house sharing or something? I rely on this for my livelihood so I offer a quality experience.
Odd, all 5 of the professional cuddlers I know host in their homes. Maybe it's a regional thing?
In my case it's not unable but unwilling for safety reasons. I have definitely had an obsessed client before, and it can turn badly very quickly. It is better to simply keep the risks minimal in my opinion.
In my case it is safety. I have encountered some individuals in the past who honestly were scary.
Then there is the fact that six others are in my home. So their safety is a top priority as well.
If you want someone who can host at home then keep looking, there also seem to be Cuddlers that tour and often get a room independently from their fees.
@RaindropSweetie that is the reason I have always thought of. Let’s be real. Yes, assault can happen to men too, but the overwhelming number when women are involved happen to women. I fully understand why a woman is hesitant to host.
