Who in their right mind thinks inviting someone to meet for a last minute plan. Or any plan for that matter. Which they respond: “no thanks.” Then calling them a vulgar word for their right to refuse: helps build a foundation of trust, and comfort?.
This man asked for my picture prior. Which I explained I don't share a picture. If I feel a connection with someone then, I video call with them.
I offered him* to add me on Whatsapp, or Google hangout* which the latter, I said he most likely already has on his device. He said he doesn't use whatsapp, and to just text him. I explained I don't text except with rare, and few exceptions. He simply laughed it off, and carried on with trying to meet me. The relevant conversation with sensitive details removed is in the comments.
To any man/person that gets hostile/aggressive towards women/ for first of all exercising their right to refuse: shame on you.
Second, it does NOT foster any comfort, nor a possibility that she will want to get with* you. Maybe with a few exceptions, such as if she has a very low self-esteem. Or she doesn't know any better. In which case, still shame on you for trying to take advantage of that fact, and for disrespecting her!
Some times it's men/people like this that then go on complaining about not getting cuddles, and no woman wanting them. Don't be nice to the point that you are a door mat. Though, don't be a misogynistic, entitled person, either. At the end of the day, you are not entitled to women's bodies, nor company. You are entitled to nobody's!
Personally, I don't see a point in going silent on someone I do not wish to talk with, or meet anymore. Except a few cases. Though, unfortunately, some of us women/ are made to feel like going silent on any man we fall out of connection with. Or whatever, is better: for fear that he might get hostile/ at our rejection. No matter how kindly we reject.
I will always continue to be direct with others. I have also met men who I rejected for all kinds of reasons. They took my rejection well, and respected my right to do so. Many were also understanding. I think men/ like them deserve a direct response. Though, at the end of the day, even that response itself: nobody is entitled to.
