  • @PaulaDahla I'm too old and out of shape to do that style of grunt work. I just clean cabins in this special area near the Mariposa Grove of giant trees that allows private homes which only exists because of a stubborn old cuss.

There is a tornado watch until 7:00pm. I'm going to play Skyrim in Playstation Virtual Reality. It's a medival fantasy game. I think you can start a romance with someone in the game. So my goal when playing is to find a virtual cuddle buddy. So far all the women I have met are super beautiful, but they are hunters and bar owners. They are not interested in starting a cuddle friendship.

  • @BluShadeCool yes, relationships are possible in that game.... my experience has been none of them have been interested in a cuddle friendship, even the one's willing to have a relationship with your player. I enjoyed my canine companion more than my human one in that game. Good luck though.

@Fredrick_Hugs I also am old and out of shape. But I'd do it if it meant being lucky enough to work in a park. Besides I'd hurt like everything for a week but then I WOULD be in shape! :-)

    Starting a new crochet project.

  • I'm going to the Italian film festival. They show really good Italian films for free.

  • Nice to see you again PaulaDahla!!!

  • Not posting in any more discussions in this Forum (apart from this one of course!) as, as even the last series of Game of Thrones so tragically illustrates, all good things must come to an end sometime.

But...OMG the new GOT. I have a reason to live again. If only for the next six weeks.

  • I haven't yet jumped on the GoT bandwagon, and am not sure if I ever will. But for those who love it, enjoy it while it lasts! I shed sympathetic tears whenever a show ends. As for right now, I'm currently enjoying a hot matcha, putting out ads and watching some true crime shows on Netflix. Also anxiously awaiting a new episode of Trace Evidence, my favourite unsolved murder/disappearances podcast.

  • April 15th - filing taxes. Thank you to Congress for making mine go up.

    Watching Notre Dame burn.

  • Work work work. Then some more work. Oh taxes. Investments. Wow entire day of nonsense.

  • I am practicing my ESP. I am one of the best as I predicted I would be posting this.

  • I'm making pasta sauce, because life is better that way.

  • How are you doing PaulaDahla??

  • ^ awkward. Shouldn't that be a private message Dude?

  • I had a coffee/he had a hot chocolate with veteran Sydney based cuddler @Respectful who gave me the benefit of his wide experience of cuddling - which was great. We did not cuddle as neither of us is so inclined but we did have a nice hug on parting. My first meeting with a Cuddle Comfort cuddler in the flesh. A cool and conscientious dude.

@HappinessHenry It was nice to meet you and chat about cuddling!

  • Enjoying a beautiful sunrise and cup of coffee. ?

  • I wish I could enjoy one with you MissAdventurous!!!!

  • I had to work today..I install windows..Does anyone need new windows ill bet you do..lol

  • Folding laundry and packing for a 5 day trip at the end of the week. Making a list of things I need to pick up at the drug store and all of that. Just going to Milwaukee, a little over 2 hours by car.

  • Also getting ready for a needed vacation. Leave Friday morning for a different kind of relaxation sans cuddling.

  • I'm presently waiting for a delivery. I'm pretty sure that UPS doesn't actually deliver things—that they only give out little notes saying "We're sorry that we missed you." I wish that I had a bear trap so that I could catch the driver. I'd then interrogate them as to why, exactly, they're so inept at delivering packages.

  • Avoiding leaving the house due to a Heat Advisory. Last I saw it was 91F, but with humidity it felt like 102F.

Going to the treatment center with mom, followed by a consult with her primary oncologist.

After that, presuming all is well and we are safely home, it’s time for a late lunch/early supper, and then hang out.

Likely a movie, then the ballgame (Go Dodgers!), and some podcasts.

I’m grateful for each day I get with her, and I hate every second of it.

All part of caring for your first and best friend, who is also a terminal cancer patient.

  • @CharlesTwisted Well at least you have an opportunity to say good bye and savor moments. My dad had pancreatic cancer plus an unrelated tumor that put him in the hospital the final six months of his life, but I am so glad to have had those six months and still smile about it today.

On the other hand, my mom died suddenly. I was out on a Sunday morning having Dim Sum with friends when my phone rang and I got the news her plane crashed and she died on impact. Because her body was severed in several places it was a closed casket funeral. I never knew how empty one could feel in a split second—how so many people could be talking to you at that moment in the middle of a large city and I heard, saw and felt nothing except the feeling of sudden retching. Then your legs grow weak. Then you collapse.

    So cherish the days.

  • Today’s my 70th birthday. I’m in Milwaukee at a national meeting for my church this weekend. The birthday photo is from a couple nights ago when friends took me to dollar burger night at a local pub near home.

  • @mickcuddle Happy Birthday. I hope it was a great one.

  • @mickcuddle Yay, happy birthday to you~ That cake looks delicious :p
