Messages

Ladies, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure on average your probably get 10+ messages a day. What makes a guy stand out to you? What makes you want to choose him over the other guys in your inbox, aside from the was he looks.

  • I don’t discriminate against anything :) I take time to make sure I message back every single one!!

If it's platonic it shouldn't matter but unfortunately everything is superficial

@phenom_xm - Could be they prefer a profile picture where the person is smiling, or at least looks pleasant.

  • [Deleted User]comforttouch (deleted user)

@UKGuy...I'm smiling in one of my pics..lol.

  • For me, it's the content of the messages and the tone of the conversation.

I’m the one usually doing the messaging. Every now and then I get an outside message.

  • I look for some kind of realness to what is written in the profile. Something that shows some authentic part of someone’s unique personality. One of my dating profile pet peeves is if someone’s says they like to laugh and they like to have fun.

  • I’m either overly social or part goofy. If I see something interesting in a photo, a profile or a forum post, I’m likely to send a message commenting on it, even if we are not likely future cuddle-buddies.

  • I receive more replies now that I removed the “Brutally taking over the world” from my list of hobbies.

  • @FunCartel Gently takin over the world....

  • @pmvines With a velvet glove.

  • And a plushy fist !

  • If they reply often, and seem like decent people, and like we'd fit together after we've been talking. Or sometimes it depends on the time and who's available, or who messages you first. I don't usually get messages on here.

I’ve only been here for a few months, but I have already learned not to bother messaging “non-pros”.

There must be a few exceptions, but in my experience the vast majority of “non-pro” female accounts in the Los Angeles area are be banned or deactivated VERY quickly.

    Amusing, if annoying.

^^ I've sent out a total of 11 messages (only 2 of the accounts are now deactivated or deleted) , only response I ever got was from a pro, and even she stopped responding after a couple back and forths. She required a video call before booking someone, so we scheduled one and when I attempted she didn't pick up and never messaged me back on here. I think I'm uncuddle-able.

  • @NickS Honestly, I find people online don't have the courtesy to just say they're not interested... (it's not YOU, it's THEM ;)

Although, I guess it's similar to when you walk past the people on the street trying to sell you things and you just avoid eye contact. (Don't say anything, and they won't talk to you...). Rather than saying you're not interested.

And from a quick glance at a profile, you do not seem "un-cuddlable" at all ;) Although, you might have a bit more luck if you put more in the "About me" section... (when I read ones that are filled out well, I feel like I'm actually interacting with a person, not just a 'profile')

@phenom_xm And while I'm not a lady... laughs. Things that make profiles stand out to me:

-> A filled out profile. Having another "Person" on the other side... why they're here... what they're looking for... Maybe even show a bit of openness that they're crazy nervous being here...

-> Good photos... (not the mirror shots / bathroom shots)... Show me YOU. What you love to do, what makes you tick... have a funny photo, or something that shows your personality. (A shot that looks like a mugshot, just scares people off LOL)

@mickcuddle -> You've got another good one... " If I see something interesting in a photo, a profile or a forum post, I’m likely to send a message commenting on it, even if we are not likely future cuddle-buddies."
Put things in your profile to give them something to talk about... other than "Hey..."

To have a good cuddle you need to feel a connection with the person (And I don't mean romantic or sexual)... but Just feeling open / accepted / understood...
Even if that just starts out with you both like hiking... (or motorcycles ;) or maybe even knitting?

  • Funny. The Pros say they don't discriminate. Of course not. U charge. Many non Pros say they cuddle All but don't redpond to All.

  • edited August 2019

@MaxCuddle Since they're not pros, they don't have to respond to a message if there is nothing there that strikes them. Even if you're dealing with a pro, they don't have to message back either (although they should at least, in my opinion, even if they have no intentions of meeting the person). The beauty of messaging is that everybody has a choice as to how far they want to go with it. Does it hurt sometimes to reach out and get nothing back or to be rejected, sure. But that's where we need to drop our sense of entitlement to other people's time. We can't control others. Instead of worrying about what others do or don't do, a person can always work on their ability to remain positive and not negatively react to rejection.

  • Funny thing about pros returning messages—the ones who say they reply to all are never in cities like LA, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, Houston etc. The numbers determine if you can reply to all. I cuddled with someone from Las Vegas who came to my home city and she said she needs to get out of the city every once and awhile because the sheer volume of messages are overwhelming at times.

  • I have two locations on my profile. One that gets me a bunch of messages from Toronto (A major city) and my second location is right beside Tampa Florida (A major city). I get a lot of messages. But I answer EVERY ONE. I also work 2 jobs. I still find time to answer.

  • It is surprising there are so few quality pro cuddlers to meet the demand. Any respectable non-pro seems to become a pro once they see there is money to be made. A lot of the pros seem to be unprofessional. Locally, there are a lot of underwhelming professionals with nothing in their profile indicating they are personable or cultured charging $80 or more an hour to spend time with them. That speaks to the fact there isn’t enough quality pros to meet the demand currently.
There are women working at fast food restaurants that would be more enjoyable to spend time with making 80 dollars an entire 8 hour shift after taxes. If only they knew about this site. They could make a weeks pay in a handful of hours and maybe use the extra time to go back to school.

@Sheena123 what is a lot? This particular pro was getting 100 in a day. She showed me her message box (her e-mail, not where I can see). She is a dealer at a casino in Vegas and cannot check messages at work and she was doing about 6-8 sessions a week. She quit the site because she has a cadre of about 60 clients in her inner circle that have her number that she will see.

She never answered all and I know why. Creeps and one word messages do not deserve a reply. I do not blame her for that and it is the efficient way of doing business. She no longer has to split funds with the site and she knows exactly who she is seeing now that she is no longer on the site.

As far as your profile, I have looked at it when I have been in Florida on business. You may get a lot of messages by your estimation but I think (and this is just my opinion) your numbers are reduced because you are married. I pass on married providers and it has nothing to do with boundaries. It has to do with my own feelings that it is weird to pay someone’s wife to cuddle. Just my issue, but a couple of other guys that have messaged me on this site have indicated the same. They said they would not want their wife to cuddle for a fee. That is not a judgement on you, but it could reduce the number of potential clients messaging you.

And guys, before you message me asking for the lady in Vegas’ phone number or who she was, it is not going to happen. Everyone that I deal with has earned my complete discretion.

  • I agree with you FunCartel- the married pro cuddler is completely bizarre. I know many people have marriages and relationships with unique dynamics. But it just seems like an odd thing to pay to cuddle with someone’s spouse. Plus, what if the spouse is a complete low-life? That would be a tough pill to swallow. Paying to platonically cuddle someone married to a loser. I think I would drown my sorrows in a bottle of whiskey to try and forget that memory.

  • edited August 2019

@boomerang86 Yeah, that is one dynamic I have thought of. I have also had it run through my head that they say their spouse is cool with it but how do you know? I run through scenarios where the married pro is lying about that and hubby follows her to the appointment and shoots us both in mid-Cuddle out of jealousy and my last words are me screaming “PLATONIC, PLATONIC!!”

  • Lol, the husband would probably get a favorable plea deal too. Community service and anger management classes.

  • @FunCartel I definitely get that many messages but in Florida, if I receive that many, I won’t be working down there so I could still answer an abundant amount. Right now, I’m 3 months away from being down there and I have about 20 people that want to book with me as soon as I get there. But it’s good that she was able to break from the site and sustain herself with the credibility she has in past cuddlers ☺️

I am one of those married pros that has a husband that is perfectly fine with it. No shooting from him 💕

  • And I dont want any pros contacting me if they are not physically attractive. You just don't get $80 because you are a woman.

  • [Deleted User]CharlesTwisted (deleted user)

I wonder what other basic, life affirming interactions I shouldn’t be permitting the women who serve me?

Am I a loser if I allow my wife to be a nurse?

Or my daughter to be a chef, or line cook?

What about maids, or secretaries, or librarians? All of those have “sexy” images I need to think about, or who knows what might happen?

Good God, my manhood might be questioned, or masculinity itself, or even the American Way!

Is there no end to the madness if we simply grow up, trust the people in our lives, and try to add a little bit of empathy, kindness, and joy to this world?

    No, no, you’re right.

    That nonsense is for losers!

  • Charles- that is as absurd as comparing a syringe of meth to a Tylenol pill.
A more apt comparison would be is a man alright with his wife being an escort that doesn’t have sex with her clientele.

  • Due to all the criteriabI seek, and some which that I've and it's a no for others: I don't get "10 messages a day". I might get a message or two every few weeks/months.

What would make me respond is one's effort in what he writes, and that he takes a no pressure, and a friendly approach. Say hello, ask how one is. Or about something they wrote they are passionate about, etc.

As opposed to just a "Me you cuddle now" type of message. Which doesn't even show a care in the person's feelings, comfort, and doesn't create the space for one to express anything they would like their potential partner to know prior to meeting.

Also, IMPORTANT to read people's profile before messaging because if you've things about you that they upfront expressed they don't want. Then messaging them for a cuddle is rude, and will seldom get you a reply..... from me.
