@Kense: You're confusing gender (psychological/social) with sex (physical).

A person can be psychologically and socially female and physically male. This makes them a transwoman. Not a cis woman, you're right. But still a woman—a transwoman. And yes: they should be honest about this.

    Edit:

I had a coworker about a year ago—a cis woman—who was 5' 10", with broad shoulders, almost unnoticeable breasts, and slim hips. No curves. The first time I saw her, I thought she was male-bodied. But no: she's physically female, with a fully functioning female reproductive system. (I have interesting conversations with my coworkers, when I talk to them at all.)

So. If she joined this site, how would you have her describe her body type? Is it more masculine? Or more feminine? She's entirely female. But externally, her body looks almost male.

Would you feel lied to if she listed herself as a woman?

If you would accept a masculine-looking cis woman as a female cuddle buddy, then you should accept a masculine-looking transwoman as a female cuddle buddy. They've got the same psychology, the same physical build. I don't know what more you could ask for. Unless you were hoping to get your cuddle buddy pregnant.

  • What about partial pictures that cut off the head, face or a backwards head? Seems kind of shady. Why wouldn't a person not want anyone to know who they are? Why try to post anything at all then? I see a few profiles today in the new section hiding themselves. For safety in this day and age, all participants should be required to post a picture. I'm sure that opens another can of worms....
