You're offered One Million Dollars to NEVER cuddle again... Would you?

If your answer is NO, is there a price that would convince you to say YES?

Personally, I love cuddling and it definitely lifts my mood. However, I've been single for a long time and its been years since I've enjoyed the pleasure of cuddling. Therefore, if I take the money, my lifestyle remains the same but I'm a lot wealthier. On the other hand, I can pass on the money and remain optimistic in finding someone, while paying $100 per hour to a professional....

A. Shall I be expecting the million in cash or will it be wired?

BY THE WAY, try to avoid the P & R and stay on this REALISTIC topic. Thank you.

I’m sorry, that this is a “realistic question” was too much for my forum poker face...

  • I would shrivel up and die if I never cuddled anyone again. Especially babies! A single clean smelling baby cuddle is worth all of the money in the world. I couldn't take the money. Too much mother instinct in me.

  • I would say yes and simply not cuddle in public ;)

I would probably say yes, if long standing hugs were still on the table

  • Yes, i haven’t been cuddling so i ain’t losing anything

  • I get so little cuddle time that I could find a way to find my emotional support from the cash. But I’m assuming the $1 million comes to me income tax free.

  • No no no no no. Nope.

  • This question sounds like a rejected Pauly Shore script.

  • @mickcuddle Tax free? Where do you live? I want to be a citizen there. : )

Nope, you'd get around $750k in most places. As for my answer, would depend on how badly I needed money and whether I'd be willing to sell a freedom for it. So now, definitely not.

  • @FunCartel Pauly Shore has rejected scripts?

    .

  • Nope. Not even a trillion dollars.

  • No amount of money would convince me to never cuddle again.

  • There's an amount for sure. Just not in a mathematical mood to think about something that's not going to happen. At some point I'd be weighing a selfish enjoyment of cuddling against the good I could do with the money whether feeding or housing or clothing people in need and I'd certainly make that deal.

  • @faizankhan1437 I guess tax free was a loose term. I should have said “after tax”

  • I don't know how you enforce that.

A dream come true as I could finally pay it forward to those that I know really need it and do better deeds with that financial freedom. Nothing wrong with referring those that desire to cuddle to others, or hire someone else to do it for me. :) I enjoy the cuddling but the paying it forward to others would bring me more joy. I relieved them of other burdens that they were seeking to be free from through cuddling sessions. Cuddling is mostly touching therapy, however there are many alternatives one can take should I be required to never cuddle again. Touching their mental health as well as their hearts with my gesture would be one along with giving them an anxiety blanket.

Sure, I'll take $1mil to "never cuddle again". It's not like the thought police exist yet.

  • @FunCartel @pmvines No wheezing the juice for either of you? Lol. “Encino Man” was pretty good.

  • I would say yes to $100,000.

MOD: Comment removed - personal attack. Come on now... [SoulcuddlerZ]

  • I imagine cuddleBA means that they would do it even if it were ten times less.

  • No. I would require the following:

    6 gallons of untainted blood.

69 intervertabral discs (bleached, bound together to form the shape of an open hand)

A full set of pristine infant teeth.

A first edition, shiny Charizard Pokémon card.

    A quart of widow’s tears.

  • And the resulting potion would do.....what???

  • @Fairbutfirm

Potion? I wouldn’t be making a potion. But all of those things, if delivered to me, would be enough to convince me to never cuddle someone again.

I’d keep the blood, for fun. I used to have a roommate who worked as a phlebotomist. When she started, she’d practice on me, and I’d keep the phials of blood in the fridge. It made for an amusing conversation piece when people came over.

I’d display things on the spinal sculpture.

The teeth would make a cute bracelet.

I’d sip the quart of widow’s tears on special occasions; like my birthday, or the New Year.

    DAMN. That's a tough one! 😂 😭

I could really use the money. Though, I also LOVE cuddles.

No. Keep your million dollar. It'd probably fly by anyway. 😭 😂

Edit: What is the "P&R"? Is there a price that would convince me... I could also really use becoming a billionaire. Though, I am not so sure I want that lifestyle, either. My answer as tough as it is, remains, no. end of edit.

How is this being enforced? Are we on the honor system here?

And what happens if, say, one of my nine siblings happens to hug me? That counts as a cuddle, yes? Or no? What if my sister's cat jumps on my lap and I don't immediately dump it off? Or do cat cuddles not count as cuddles? What if one of my siblings wants me to hold their baby? Do I have to refuse? Or if a kid wants to sit in my lap so they can follow along while I read them a story—do I have to tell them to find someone else? What if my mom gives me a hug? Or sits beside me on the couch?

...If someone's dumb enough to pay me a million dollars American to say "I solemnly swear to never cuddle again," I'll take it. They deserve to be bilked.

@pmvines Alright... I see how you roll. 😂

I can't tag y'all now. Though, many of you gave clever, and awesome responses.

Come to think of it more, it'd definitely depend on what you actually define as cuddling. Like some say, prolonged standing/sitting hugs = cuddle? Hand holding? Massage?

Also, some of you said that you could pay that money forward. Which I did think about on a lesser scale: myself, and people close to me. Though, if I think about on a larger scale both money wise, and the amount of people I could support with. Then, I'll give up cuddles if I am to get at least billion dollar.

  • Just a simple arithmetic. $1000000 divided by $80 (an average cuddle’s price) equals 12500 cuddles. Assuming four 1-hour cuddle or two 2-hour sessions a week, it will result in about 65 years without cuddling…Nope.

  • Y'all are silly.

    And I love it.

    That is all 😋
