  • “Men owe women respect; women don’t owe men respect” is all I’m hearing.

  • @MountainCuddles You seem to have a lot of anger toward women.

    @FunCartel: It does, some. Thanks.

    I still disagree when it comes to this idea you seem to have that being totally and absolutely rejected by someone you thought you'd had a good time with is something you shouldn't care about at all—but the rest of it makes a whole lot more sense to me now. In fact, I agree: you know what you're talking about here.

    "You should not adjust your personality and who you are based on strangers and the general population who do not impact you personally" is solid advice, and I like hearing it.

    The idea that people should ignore it when someone who they cuddled with blocked them... less so. Based on his latest responses, it seems like @MountainCuddles could do with a lot of feedback (maybe too much for any one person to provide). I think he's right to care—not this much, but enough that he maybe tells his next buddy, "Hey, I might accidentally do something that makes you uncomfortable during this: I swear I don't know I'm doing it, I'm not doing it on purpose, please point it out to me so I can stop." And then he should care enough to be genuinely grateful every time she points something out.

    Not likely to happen, but I still argue that that's the way he should care!

    @DarrenWalker I somewhat see your point on feedback but it is weak. First you have to believe everything he says and I do not. He has expanded his anger to women at large so I think he knows why he was blocked and this has become larger than just being blocked. He is now attacking women in general without demonstrating an ounce of empathy for what women face. In short, I think the real victim is the one that blocked him. But you are also overlooking one point that he said—he admitted there really was no emotional connection with her. Then why does he care so much?

    @FunCartel: I figured it was because he wants the cuddles, and so really doesn't want to drive his buddies away. Emotional connection or no emotional connection, it's not great to scare off the people you need, is it?

    But that's an assumption, and I guess I shouldn't make it. Why do you think he cares this much?

    This particular discussion has degenerated into unproductive back & forth. For now, I will note that being blocked by another member on CC is not an immediate indication of wrongdoing on your part.
