Okay so I'm confused 🤔🤔 I like to put profiles with thoughts on the forums so I'll look at people's profile if it piques my interest positive or negative. Twice in the past two weeks I've went to click on someone and they've blocked me... I've had no interaction with them so I don't get it lol there's literally no benefit to this other than me not being able to send them a message ... which I was never going to do anyway ...

Strange.

    Is it possible to block everyone except those you unblock? Like a default? I don't recall seeing that option when I joined nor would I have chosen it. Just something that comes to mind. Only other possibility I can think of is they saw you first, whether your profile or participation in a forum and decided you weren't like minded so they had no use for you??? Because that wouldn't surprise me a bit from what I've observed here.

    I wouldn't worry about it. I've been blocked just for looking at someone's profile. Everyone that blocks me gets blocked back.
    It would be useful to have 'people who've blocked you' and 'people you've blocked' lists somewhere.

    I'm not really worried about it just thought it was interesting and kinda funny 🤷‍♀️ it's a bit silly because we can still see each other in the forums anyway. Oh well lol

    That picture on your profile with your tongue sticking out might be taken the wrong way. People might find it inappropriate. Just saying.

    I block trolls and bigots, and I block professionals in my search area that are smokers or out of my price range.

    If there were filters to remove smokers/expensive professionals I would only block trolls and bigots.

    I would mention that being able to block users on the forum would be excellent, but then the trolls will point out there’s a “Suggestions” thread...

    For the moment I simply scroll past the worst offenders here in the forums, without bothering to read the drooling venom.

    @CuddlesInParis I was concerned people would take it the wrong way but I chose to think more highly of my fellow humans. Since it's been addressed by someone publicly I chose to adjust. You'll find it's more appropriate now ☺

    I visit profiles all the time to associate people with forum comments, and have been blocked a few times.

    Blocking is one of those things that happens. Oddly enough, I encounter lots of closed doors in real life, too....

    I don't think I've ever blocked anybody, probably because I'm not bothered by messages from folks I disagree with. It gives you the opportunity to learn new, creative insults!

    ...Of course, most of them aren't creative. Still. We live in hope.

    I’ve blocked a few people that i didn’t want to see pop up in my visit list anymore. Mostly men and actually one woman. I’ve blocked people back who have blocked me for the same reason.

    I wish there was an ignore feature so i couldn’t see people i just wouldn’t want to visit the profile again. In my area there are a few that I’ve approached or conversed with that didn’t turn out well so i wish i could just remove them from my sight. Not out of anything Malicious just not to waste moments out of my browse.

    I block people just to clean up my visitors list. If someone visits and gets deleted, blocking them won't move the profile out of the visitors list. I've also been toying with the idea of doing the same thing with the recently online or new members lists until I only see people from my own state.

    Getting blocked for no apparent reason is odd.....especially when they are the ones that initiate the contact and you seem to be having a pretty standard convo 🤷🏼‍♀️
    I do block people, but only those that have done something to warrant it (inappropriateness, fake photos, etc)

    In fact, there’s someone on this very post who blocked me 😆😆😆 and I’m not sure why??🤔 They literally replied to a message I sent, and then immediately blocked me with no indication as to why.....lol

    Oh well, can’t connect with everyone, I guess.....

    Me too I'm blocked and only reason I know I'd cus I tried once to message them to offer condolences for a post they did about a dear ailing family member . We had infrequent but relatively normal interaction prior so I dunno some folks are more triggered than others . Shame cus I believe we actually have things in common and would get along fairly well

    This person literally sent me another message today....and then immediately blocked me so I still couldn't respond 😂😂🙄
    I guess its just weird to me.......I'd block them back if I had a reason too.....but it doesn't seem necessary 🤷🏼‍♀️

    So I managed to block every person under New Members that was not from my state. I now show 6 people from CA only.

    @PeopleLikeUs - do you know the various filter options in the search-for-cuddlers section: by location, by distance, by how recently online, pro or non pro, pics or no pics, etc.
