I'm a guy and I clearly have on my profile that I cuddle women. Yet my profile is viewed by more guys than women. Any of you guys also experienced this?
Yes. If you block the guys in visitors they disappear leaving just the women.
You can’t stop them, you know. Not really. Be strong.
/hysterical laughter.
@phenom_xm this has been addressed in several threads . For me personally , if I am on my phone I only the user name shows not the pic so I have no idea what your sex is . Also even though you only cuddle men , that only is stated on your profile , so only way someone would know that is to visit your profile . Also if you are on the forum and seem interesting someone may visit simply out of curiosity . Also a lot more men here than women so statistically it's bound to happen . lastly , as is case with me , often if I'm scrolling through I may fumble and click by accident often times clicking right back again without even reading what I clicked on . So in short , just cus someone clicked on your page doesn't mean there is an intent or desire behind it to want to meet or cuddle or even contact you .
You can go through and block every man on here like @PeopleLikeUs has done since it seems be a source of distress for him to see a guy on his visitor page . Or you can simply do as most do and go about your day . Hope that explains things from at least my perspective .
@pmvines Spot on
I may be wrong, but on the surface there is nothing wrong with @phenom_xm 's question. He isn't asking how to stop men from viewing, which seems to be the interpretations in these replies.
He only asked if any other men had more males viewing their profiles than females. Perfectly innocuous question.
You may have inferred the actual intent, but you're still making assumptions. How welcoming and kind is that? It's neither.
By the way, @phenom_xm, to address your question, are there perhaps more male than female cuddlers listed in your area?
Hahaha. I had to click on @PeopleLikeUs because I had never heard of him. But he has me blocked. A friendship never meant to be I guess.
There are far more men on this site than women.
Oh I agree @Myrddyn nothing wrong with the question itself , just am pointing out reasons one might have more male visitors , since it directly relates to his post . I have the feeling @phenom_xm has no problem speaking his mind if i made him feel unwelcome or was unkind . If that is the case , I would owe him an apology .
Once in a blue moon a guy makes a comment here, or on another thread that resonates with me and just out of curiosity (no, not THAT type of curiosity), I click his profile just to see who the witty or enlightened person is on the other end. Nothing more, nothing less. It's nothing to worry about in my opinion.
All of these profile viewing questions in the forums makes me regret my habit of idly looking at people's profiles when they comment in the forum. I had no idea browsing profiles had such weight to it.
@PeopleLikeUs just doesn't like anyone... I'm also blocked 🤷♀️
@phenom_xm Expect even more guys to visit your profile because they will be curious of who made this post. It happens. The thing that makes me feel a little weird is when gay men visit my profile out of the blue. For example when I made my profile on day one there were gay men visiting my profile. I clearly put on my profile that I am straight and only cuddle women. Maybe they find a way around it. I suggest that you simply block.
I guess @PeopleLikeUs’ name translates to “me, myself and I.” Has me blocked too.
But all joking aside, I do not care he blocked me. It does not change my life and quite frankly, it saves me the energy of putting in work to befriend someone who does not want a friend. It is totally his choice and right. Blocks just do not bother me. The only time I ever got upset about a block is when I blocked myself and could not respond to messages.
@Annichka you haven't visited me though I am feeling left out ...
So as it turns out the maximum number of people you can block is 200. I also suspect this limit was just placed because I am well over 200.
Just a little something strange... at the bottom of @PeopleLikeUs 's profile he says "I also cuddle men, any gender identity and differently abled." despite listing women as the only group he wants to cuddle to the right and clearly not wanting men visiting his profile as shown above.
I guess he only wants to cuddle the men who don't visit his profile shrug
LOL. So I just had to satisfy my curiosity and yup - sure enough - PeopleLikeUs has blocked me too! Never had any exchanges with the guy, and this is my first time commenting on this particular thread. Wondering how I got on the UNguest list?
Very interesting - this preemptive blocking strategy. Wonder what the motivation is behind that?
@phenom_xm - prior to your post, how would someone know that you only cuddle women if they didn't visit your profile?
@CuddlesInParis , the same is true for us gay guys who may or may not view random profiles, but the difference is if we message you after viewing your profile and seeing who you do/don't cuddle with, because that would be a "little weird" and off-putting.
@SJSpooner you do not fit his profile This is starting to sound like an episode of “Mindhunter.”
@FunCartel The recent season of Mindhunter was awesome! The reference made me laugh; thanks! 😂
I typically get a bunch of male visitors after I post in the forum. If I don’t post then pretty much no one visits it except for the occasional pro who reads that I do not want to hire a pro and then messages me about hiring said pro.
It would be nice if there was an option where only the gender that you want to cuddle can visit your profile. For example if you put on your profile that you’re straight then only the opposite gender can visit your profile.
So I managed to get my blocked list below 200 and now I can continue to block people who appear in New Members, but I have to unblock someone to do that. In doing this I have received more visitors to my page than ever. I also have a sneaky suspicion that there are Pros with fake enthusiast accounts. Their strategy is to place the pro account on "deactivated" while interacting through the fake non-pro account. When I travel I notice pro accounts activating and deactivating as I message with random non-pros. Because I have my home town listed on my profile, these Pros have no other way of knowing that I'm even in the area, and yet somehow they know.
@PeopleLikeUs You are amusing.
Guess who else is getting blocked... this guy!!
I was blocked, then unblocked and now blocked again. Do I get a prize? Lol.
Which is the worst block?
A) Cuddle Comfort B ) Writer’s C) Mental D) Heart E) Colon F) Building G) Neighborhood
Omg this thread is hilarious, its been taken over by @PeopleLikeUs blocked list!!
@phenom_xm I'm sure you'll notice that most are men on this site, very few females and I think the majority that are active are pros.
As a woman, I look at some profiles to see what they are about when they comment on the threads. It's nice to see a little bit more about the person that is posting. I also say hi to many people that come visit me. I think it's nice to have a community and to be a part of it. That's just me and who I am as a person!
I guess since Mr Charles deleted his account somebody has to carry the pointless blocking for no real reason flag
Oof heart block can kill ya BUT colon block oy that's a terrible feeling 🤔🤔
