Someone asked me full body pic. Not sure why and didn't see the need of that for cuddling. Body shape or size should not matter. I guess my profile pic wasn't enough for him..smh! I offered to meet in person, but that went south.
I'm sure you'll find someone else. There are far more men than women on this site. Some people are very particular about body size when cuddling I guess....
Not worth your time. I'm sure you'll meet more people on here.
Redflagredflagredflag especially if you've got a full body photo up.
Well, he obviously doesn't know the meaning of the word sapiosexual if he even read it. The shift in style and emotion in these three pictures are better than most pro headshots. And it's you that makes these shots work. You are just as beautiful and deserving as anybody on this site. You stated upfront where you are coming from.
Yeah i would if they asked, got nothing to hide lol
It screams red flag but then again if I'm gonna spend a quantity of time with a cuddler for my needs. I would always prefer someone taller and heavier than me . It makes me feel safe for awhile safe and protected. .
Yes red flag. Just send him a pic of daffy duck and leave. @rheaah
I have had this happen frequently. A request for a full image. I think for the most part, the cuddler was trying to gage if my size was compatible with his. My height is in my bio. Admittedly, I am also on Cuddle Connect and Cuddle Companions. I don't remember if there is a box for height there. I model as well as cuddle. Some men think that I am tall when they see the word model. I am actually short. They miss the 5ft 1 inch. I have had a few cuddles with shorter men ( 5 ft 4 inches to 5ft 6 inches ) looking for a more petite cuddler, lol, they like to be the big spoon. On the flip size, I had a nice cuddle with a gentleman 6 ft 3 inches. He kept remarking that he thought that I was taller. If he had not been wearing long jeans ( instead of shorts) I probably would have felt uncomfortable sitting in his lap to snuggle for 2.5 hours to watch a movie. Because of the height difference, that was the only way that we could snuggle to watch the movie without him bending over.
I’m sorry that this happened to you. None of that should matter with cuddling. I mean, I like to have a pic just to know who I’m talking to but that’s about it.
I once had to turn a man down. I had other personal concerns. Though, his body size was also a factor. I saw a full shot of him and as much as I was trying to give him a chance: I couldn't again given that his body size wasn't the only factor.
He appeared quite BIG which made me feel inadequate in my ability to comfort him in return. If I didn't see a full photo of him, maybe even a half photo would've given me a hint. Though, it's not something that I'd go out of my way to ask for a full photo. I am fine to just see the person's face, and upper body. Then hopefully spend some in-person friendly time with them. If I then still feel incompatible then, I'd handle it from there. I think now I am more willing to give a chance. Although, I can't really* speak for others in this regard, and why they ask that. I can also understand how, and why it makes many of us uncomfortable. Some men I am sure aren't even asking for a full body photo for compatibility's sake. While some seem to never get enough, and proceed to ask for more.
Even though cuddling is platonic, people are paying pros a service. Everyone has different preferences in terms of who or what type of people they want to cuddle with, including body types. I don't think asking to see a photo of the entire person is necessarily a red flag or a problem. And I think it should be able to work both ways. At the end of the day, both parties need to feel comfortable with who they cuddle with.
Asking for a full body picture isnt a red flag, not having one is.
Many other pros (or even enthusiast women) will tell you that the people who asked them for full body photos were actually boundary pushers, especially when there was already one on the profile that would have sufficed. That's why to many of us it's a red flag. I for one have never had a successful session with people who asked (my cuddle count is higher than listed here as I mainly advertise outside CC), and the OP herself seems a bit uncomfortable.
They could be totally asking something like that for innocent reasons, yes, but for those of us who've done this for a while (Nov 2016 here) we know what we've experienced not only as individuals but as a collective movement.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to know your chosen cuddler's body type, but people often go about it the wrong way.
i think the pros should have to have at least one full body, one face, and hold a sign with username and date to verify they are real
That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I agree with all except a full body photo. I'm looking for the people who are in need of this service... the ones who aren't looking for a "sexy body pillow" (sadly a high count of these folks on this site, but whatever, that's their journey). That's the reason I personally don't have full body photos up. I used to have tasteful ones here as well as on my own website, but it seemed to invite all the wrong attention. And all I wore was a damned onesie.
I have no problem vetting a client, making sure we are on the same page, and then sending a full body photo. I'd only send one if I felt the reason for their request was plausible. "I'm a big guy/gal who wants to be held in the Cuddle Boat position and I don't feel a person with x body type can accommodate this" comes across very differently than "hi can I book and do you have more/any pics of your body".
Tl;dr it isn't always a red flag, no, but make sure you line up the photo request with how they're engaging in general as well, and not just sending a photo because someone asked.
I think asking for a full body picture is a red flag. I don't want anybody who just wants to cuddle a "sexy body pillow", as Catloaf mentioned. Actually, anyone who is asking for more pics than what you have on your profile makes me think that they are either a picture collector looking to waste your time or they have non-platonic motives.
Interesting question. I guess it would matter on the timing of the question if it was early on when you just met or if you talked for a while and it look like you two might cuddle. I find that the women that are shorter than me and tiny are more likely to want to lay on me and me be their blanket/ big spoon/ cover. Women that are taller than me or my height and a little bit more curvy want to be the cover/ blanket and have me lay on their chest so body size does kind of affect what cuddle position you do.
Wow! There are many views to consider when a answering this question. This site is for platonic cuddling but as discussed many times before, in reality many people seek out those they find physically attractive to cuddle with. Since my profile does not have a personal picture, I would have no problem sending a clothed full body pic. The last thing I want is to meet with someone to cuddle and they are uncomfortable with my appearance. I am tall and in great shape but still send pictures of face and clothed body prior to meeting to be transparent. Now of if inappropriate or adult pics were being asked for, would be too much and I am not open to sending. True this site’s cuddle buddies should not be based on physical beauty but the reality is most people look for it.
Once someone asked me for a full body pic and one with me showing teeth lol . Said was to make sure I wasn't covered in sores and that I had no rotten teeth . I can see how that ties into hygeiene and self care , not to mention physical health and substance abuse . Still made me laugh a little though
@pmvines - showing teeth?? Seriously? Did they think this site was MethComfort? Good lord. Thanks for the chuckle.
@Sideon I did send the most obnoxious grim I could muster
Tis the season... I would have done a pic with candy corns between gums and lips. Never too old to 1) play with food 2) entertain oneself and 3) share.
@pmvines that's overboard, and pretty unnecessary to me. Even if you had terrible teeth all that matters is that you look after your hygiene. If the connection was beyond cuddles, then I can understand why they'd be concerned about the health of your teeth. Though, still even then best they see for themselves in person. Because for all they know the front of your teeth can be top notch while those out of sight in the photo can be... I don't know.
@Mexicrap i agree no full body pic obviously means that the person is plus sized which is not an issue. Anybody you ask for a full body pic will never send it lol
Or @Chocolatetreat, you know, maybe they don't want people objectifying them based on their body. I'm a size 8. Far from plus size.
Depends on my mood and how the request was written, and also how much previous conversation has gone on.
@Lovelight true true. I was more amused than anything really but if I didn't keep as sense of humor about it I can see how off putting it would have been
I actually poked my stomach out and propped my leg up on the bathroom sink as though I were presenting myself lol
i think every member on this site that is pro should have to at least have one full body pic and face pic while holding a sign that proves date and username. i know some people are weird about their body but its peoples right to know and choose so i saves people a bad expurance. i know i understand peoples insecurities i use t be insecure about my face an only take body shots which is the opposite of most people but i got over it and realized im not 6 foot tall white dude i am what i am. gotta be proud of how you look. unless you are little wayne then i would just bury my face in the sand..
@rheaah "Body shape or size should not matter." Actually, from my point of view, that is not true at all. I usually choose to cuddle with women that are smaller than me in size.
I am curious to know what reason this person gave for requesting the full body photos?
@Jay222 and @Mexicrap et al., thanks for your comments.
I viewed the photos of the OP's profile, and I do not believe that I would ask for full body photos. But in the world of online profiles where the decisions are made based on photographs it is perfectly understandable to want to see full body photos. Whether you decide to accede to the request might be determined by the argument your interested cuddler gave as a motive for the request.
