What is your favorite tea when you are snuggled up?
Mine, chai tea with a little vanilla creamer

    @HealingSnuggler no worries! I was mostly teasing. I usually am drawn to green tea but I enjoy herbal mixes as well. And personally never add anything unless I'm sick in which case I'll add raw honey for the healing properties

    Ah, chai! My Pakistani stepfather makes one of the most glorious tasting chais I've ever had in my entire life. I've had many authentic recipes thrown my way, and nothing trumps his. So that would be my choice for a snuggly tea. Probably only second to Afghan chai my husband makes, which is typically made with green tea leaves instead of black.

    On the note of chai being too sweet or full of sugar, I've only ever noticed this issue if I try to get one from somewhere on the go. I've never had chai at a western restaurant or establishment that tasted even remotely like the real thing, unless it was made like the real thing. Cardamom powder and liquid flavouring with a black teabag in the cup does not a chai make, even if it's, uh... somewhat digestible. I'm totally okay with being a snob about this, lol. One hot summer day I stopped into a Tim's to get a blended frozen drink, saw they sold frozen chai, had too much faith. Upon first sip, it went straight in the trash bin. Yes, I actually walked into a Tim Horton's and ordered a "chai" item thinking it could possibly taste good. My therapy for the lingering shame starts next week.

    I love all kinds of tea especially rooibos, dandelion and matcha green tea. But unfortunately I can't drink them any more as they rapidly deplete my iron stores. For every cup of tea I drink I lose a teaspoon of iron. And I definitely feel it.

    All teas are good snuggling teas.

    ...Assuming they're teas you like. I once made the mistake of buying Bigelow's salted caramel flavored tea. It tastes nothing like caramel unless practically half the cup is sugar. But then it tastes perfect and amazing! I may never get rid of this tiny box of tea. It's tough for me to justify that much sugar.

    Comes to choosing a favorite, well... I mostly drink green, but I do love a nice black. Especially Earl Grey. (I blame Captain Picard.)

    Ok I feel kind of boring among you drinkers of exciting tea, but this is my kinda cuppa. English breakfast tea with milk :heart:

    I much prefer coffee. If I drink tea it is usually cold unsweet with lemon.

    I've got a delicious blend from Teavanna that I bought 2 pounds of when they were going out of business:

    • earl grey creme
    • earl grey creme
    • cocoa carmel sea salt
    • chocolate almond amaretti

    It's delicious as all hell and perfect for cuddling ^^
