So it seems there are no cuddle buddies near my area that are active anymore ):

Cuddle Requests
So cal near lb or lakewood, it seems there is just no one active near here anymore. Kinda disheartening cause this is the only way I'll be able to snuggle anyone. Nothing weird of course, whatever you prefer.

I have the same problem here in Northwest Arkansas. Lots and lots of people I've watched join in the past few months experience the same thing and get discouraged. I'm pretty sure the site is more active than it appears, though. It's just that everyone is spread out and most people here don't say anything on the forums after one or two cuddle requests go unanswered unless they're a pro or someone interacting with the pros. Even most of the pros and clients stay silent. Every now and then I see someone outside of the usual vocal crew chime in on a discussion, and after reading their input and looking at their profile I find that they've actually been around for quite a while.
Hang around, read the discussions as they happen, chime in if you have something to add, look at the profiles of all the new people joining every day, and send friendly messages to people you have something in common with whether they're close enough to cuddle or not. Some of us find it nice to even just be able to talk to someone. It can sometimes be lonely reading the stories and input from people fortunate enough to be in areas with a dense enough population to give them some cuddling experience, but the feeling of being part of a community that grows from sticking around, participating, and making a few friends (even if it's all just online) makes up for it. The longer you spend here, the more likely you are to find someone to cuddle. And you may just find a kind of fulfillment from community that you didn't know you needed.
Taking the time and thought to fill in your profile to actually give people a sense of who you are would give you a greater chance of inviting friendships (or at least responses from any messages you send out.) All I see there now is the cookie cutter fluff that everyone in the world starts out with, and that doesn't say anything about who you are as a unique individual. Open up and share yourself with the community. You can always delete it later if you decide that something you added doesn't belong there. And keep updating it with things you think of to add or change; just because you've filled in your profile doesn't mean you're done with it forever. People do grow and change, after all.
Cheers, and good luck.
