Are you still having a cuddling session during COVID-19? Which I still think it's a hoax
Try telling that to someone who was personally affected by COVID-19.
If it’s a hoax why not volunteer to personally help with those who have it but not really?

@MemberofLDS I can actually see where your thoughts are going in that direction. For me, I'm having a hard time with so many articles contradicting eachother and finding valuable/reliable sources. I have read that everyone needs to just chill and wash their hands, then I've read that all this quarantine is needed. I've read the virus is so dangerous because 1. It's super fatal to certain people 2. It's contagion ratio is very high And 3. That it keeps mutating. So which is it? Or is it all of it? I've read to use hand sanitizer, I've read that hand sanitizer doesn't protect you from COVID19. Don't even get me started on all the different things I've read in regards to young children. As I have young children this is especially frustrating to me. I don't think the actual virus isn't real. But I do have to admit I've gotten frustrated at the polar opposite information I'm reading and not knowing which of THAT is real. 😵😓
Also, since I'm here, I just have to say that all this toilet paper shortage is absolute madness!!

Call it a hoax in Italy where over 3000 have died from it. Idiocy still reigns.
This is a time to come together and do all the responsible things we know to do. This is not a hoax at all. Read some about the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 where caution was not taken. Millions lost their lives because of it. Safety first.
I think the continuing fascination with this being a hoax is a hoax by the OP. Proper course of action at this point is to ignore his obvious baiting.

@geoff1000 The hoax is pretending it's not real... although it seems eventually even those people are confronted by enough facts or direct exposure that they have to admit that the Emperor has no medical mask.

"We didn't go to the Moon" is quite clear, or "The earth is flat" ; but the Covid-19 hoax- mongers aren't really explaining their position, far less their reasoning. Maybe there are several. I pity those in the German Big Brother house being told, with only one source of information they probably will struggle to believe it. Like those told about 9/11.
There may be a discussion on if it came to humans via bats and pangolins, or it was invented by a germ-warfare scientist ; but that doesn't change how we fight it right now. I do, however, hope that someone is thinking about how we stop the next one.

And what purpose would the "news media" have for lying? That many organizations couldn't come up with a phony plotline between them, so who would be organizing it and have enough clout to get news outlets to believe it?
