You Can’t Have It Your Way

Good afternoon to all and hope everyone is safe. I haven’t done a session in a few months due to this pandemic and just have been relaxing.

My reason for this post is for cuddle clients cuddling 2-3 times and then hinting sex. And if you don’t do it, they don’t want to cuddle anymore. I’m all fine with not cuddling if I have to lower my standards. It’s crazy how they start as a cuddle client but then try to treat you like an escort or prostitute down the line when we are just CUDDLING.

I know what to do now and I advise everyone having this issue to do the same. If you have someone doing this, report them to the site to get banned. I’ve had enough and this makes the cuddle therapists that are doing right at risk or not respected. You can’t go to Burger King and as for a Big Mac. So cuddle clients....STOP ASKING FOR SEXUAL FAVORS when we are just therapists. Go on an escort or web cam site for that. And I’m sure not being a sugar baby. If your intention is to try to get me into bed or do sexual things, don’t message or try to book with me.

Rant over & good day!

Sincerely,

Porsha 🌈✨🧁💋

  • Massage therapists have policies and approve appointments for this reason. I can imagine some clients trying to break the policies.

  • Sorry for the troubles you're having - those members should be banned!

  • @Porsha I feel the same way. Once this Pandemic BS is over I am going to have a lot less patience with these creeps. They love to play this game where they pretend to respect your boundaries and then slowly try to erode them over time. I am always trying to improve my methods or filtering them out in the screening process.

  • I definitely agree it’s annoying. I don’t consider myself a therapist though, (Not all of us have that kind of training) but we do deserve the same respect. If you go to a massage therapist or chiropractor or anything of that nature, it’s rude to assume sex.
But if you’re on a site that specifically says “platonic”, “non-sexual”, “non-romantic”, it’s obvious you shouldn’t push for it or ask at all!! I know it doesn’t help that there are girls here who offer sexual favours and it’s so horrible. Get off this site.... if these women keep offering or accepting extra money from guys, then these guys are going to assume that it’s ok to ask. I wish it would stop.... but I beat that platonic horse to death. I make sure a thousand times (probably not exaggerating) that I don’t do anything sexual whatsoever and I love my husband. If they still think they have a chance, then they are morons through and through. This job takes patience.

The trouble probably comes from prostitution being illegal in most of the USA ( as far as I know ), so they have to advertise themselves as "massage", "escort" etc. and not offer the extra until asked for during a meet.

Anyone who genuinely doesn't offer a sexual service, but uses the "appropriated" language of those who do, is going to struggle. A heterosexual person can similarly no longer describe themselves as carefree and happy using the adjective "gay".

I suspect that countries ( and States or parts of States ) where prostitution is legal, don't have such difficulties. People rarely ask for a Big Mac in a Burger King restaurant, if there is a McDonald's next door.

Absolutely right that those who offer / request sex using the site, including during sessions set up through the site ; should be banned. As the word gets around that the site is "unfriendly" to such activities, the incidence might reduce.

I think one of the pros said in a forum post that they have researched where a client could find what they are looking for, so can be pointed in the right direction.

I think @Sheena123 was pretty spot on about the fact that there's more pro's offering sexual services or " extras " than we care to realize. Also in some of those cases it's the provider not necessarily the client bringing up the prospect of sexual services. After lockdown I could actually see this increasing because you'll have a combination of men and people who have gone potentially months in isolation without any kind if touch both sexual or platonic and pro's who quite frankly have not been able to earn over the same period of time and feel compelled to go to desperate measures to make ends meet with the way the economy is. Im excusing the behavior on either side just saying it's a thing.

  • @hugonehugall
I think a typo in your post :
"Im not excusing the behavior on either side just telling it's a thing that's happening."

  • @hugonehugall
I guess if the incidence of offers is perceived to be high, people looking for that will continue to ask.

It's rather like junk physical mail and spam emails ; we get them, because enough people respond, that those who send them think it's worthwhile.

  • I agree with what has been said here. As a man who joined this site for its stated purpose, I see it as highly unfortunate she rude that providers are being asked for more. The trickle-down effect is that users seeking legitimate services have a harder time finding them. Reporting offenders on either side of the transaction makes it better for everyone.

    Thanks for the discussion!

  • Saddam Hussain had a neat trick to detect dodgy generals. A variant of the honey trap.

He would order General A, to tell General B, that he was dissatisfied with the boss, and was wondering if General B would support him in a takeover bid. Or something of that nature.

If General B did not immediately report General A, Saddam knew that at least one of them was bad.

If a pro on this site is asked for extra services, they can tell the client that they are clearly checking their professionalism, and will be reporting the request to the site moderators, to show that they declined and have passed the test. Ditto for clients being offered.

"I know you weren't serious, and we can both inform the moderators that I passed the tesr", might be less confrontational than, "I am going to report you for breaking site rules". Same action and effect, less drama.

I'm an enthusiast and this is something I've had to put up with m'self. I am very particular about cuddling with other guys because of it. Part of the reason I think this is an issue boils down to two things:

1.) There is still this idea that cuddling is not platonic or that it instantly is a green light for sexual contact. I've come across a series of posts and inquiries posed by enthusiasts that toe the line between platonic and sexual. There is always a "hint" that they are open to more. It's disheartening and puts many peoole off id the joys of platonic affection.

2.) There are professionals--albiet a small handful--who are sex workers and will incorprate that into their cuddling session or use platonic cuddling sites to advertise sexual services. When newer (and thirstier) enthusiasts see this they sometimes lump actual pros into the same group as SWs.

It sucks that it's this way and it puts a lot of people off of cuddling all together. :(

Those members should definitely be banned. They are making it difficult for those who are sincere.

  • A difficulty is likely to arise if A asks for extra services ( or B offers them ) and is rejected ; because A can then falsely report B for offering ( or B can falsely report A for asking ).

If we recognise that a percentage of people on this site are willing to break the rules, we must also recognise that a percentage of people are willing to falsely accuse others of breaking the rules. A ban for a first offence, might be reasonable ; but a ban for a first report, probably isn't.
