I already knew I'm a nerd. And Star Trek: The Next Generation is one of my favorite TV shows.
Next gen is the best of them. The characters in the show are pretty incompetent sometimes though which is too bad.
I'm a non-nerdy Star Trek fan so even though I've never used a multimeter, I got the joke.
My Dad used his G.I. Bill, after WWll, to go to school to learn how to repair televisions, at the time a relatively new gizmo. He had one of these, so Yeah, I got the joke. Oh, also a Trekkie season 1, episode 1.

Next Gen all the way. I’m watching all the reruns trying to find one episode. Y’all remember an episode where an alien woman had the ability to bond herself with one other person for life? Once bonded she would become the perfect mate for that partner. She ended up bonding with Picard even though she knew she would spend the rest of her life with someone else.

@ebnb totally remember that episode, Picard was quite the ladies man in TNG. I’m excited to watch him on the new show Picard, I snuck a peak and there are quite a few characters from previous ST’s who make an appearance- Data, Troi, Riker among them.
