Mailleweaver...thank you ❤ you are very sweet. One thing about me is I am honest...LOL. Thats too bad you all live so far away! I promised myself that I want to be on the coast by my 50th birthday. That gives me about 4 and a half years to get it together!

So I received a message earlier tonight from another user on the site. He had no picture on his profile he said he is an over-the-road trucker and would like to get together tonight and cuddle. I explained to him that due to having an unpleasant experience with my first cuddling session by just letting someone come over that I thought it would be better to follow the advice on here and to talk first to meet in public first and go through those steps before actually getting together to cuddle. He wrote back and said "well as usual some a****** ruins it for us nice guys". That was all he had to say. I wrote back and I said "well I would think that a nice guy would be willing to get to know someone first and to have healthy boundaries before jumping into anything". No response. Lol

Sounds like to me that person mistook cuddling as an opening for a makeout session or something. I hate people that try to force such things on people... makes those of us who are legitimately desperate and lonely look even worse than we already do.

Dwalker27, we do not know that. As a trucker perhaps he is in town only tonight. Perhaps he is frustrated that being on the go he does not have a chance to get to know people over time. He sounds angry at MRF's treatment by this other person just like many of us in this thread are.

MRF, you do the right thing setting a boundary and plan, however we can't know this man is unwilling to know you and respect your boundaries, he may only in town for a handful of hours tonight. Keep your rules to protect yourself, observe possible partners and see how respectful they are over time. Sadly in this case you will not have that opportunity so you HAVE to let him go, but also try to be open to the possibility that he is a lonely person who is frustrated that he does not have time to connect with someone.

@Mrf1971 Report him, these are the people we do not need on this site, if he can not go through the standard procedure of safety for a non paid companion, we do not want him. Let @mark decide, he can see all the Emails from both sides.

First of all I would just really like to think everybody who has been nice to me on here and allowed me to share my story. I am going to delete my account I think it's the best thing to do. I had first of all the bad experience in person and now I've had three other people trying to message me and hook up immediately with no intention of meeting me in public first or trying to even get to know me. I've also gotten private messages from people telling you that I just need to get over it and stop talking about it and move on. So I just want to thank the people who are supportive and apologize to anyone that was offended by anything I said or didn't want to hear it this is what I was afraid of. I guess I kind of latched onto this site because I have been very alone and living The Hermit life and I was just trying to make connections with people again. I guess I'm just not ready for that. _/\_

It is too bad that @Mrf1971 let those with no sensitivity drive her from the site. I think her posts here have been beneficial to the site, as well as providing some healing for her by being able to talk about it.

I think this is why it is important to weed out pervy turds like the one who used this site as a predatory tool to try to get a one night stand. If not, this will continue to happen again and it can overall harm the reputation. It's really sad that this turd chose to utilize deception so they can fulfill their desires. There are plenty of other places online for one night stands, Tinder comes to mind. This site should be the complete opposite. Until these kinds of losers get named and shamed, it will continue.

you probably over analyse because it's vital to your safety. that's what i think anyway, and after talking to other people who have also been in abusive relationships they confirm this idea as they over analyse too. but everything you talk abut in your passage there seems to relate to narcissistic abuse.

i'm also pretty sure you'll work everything out eventually, because you're already doing that and your brain won't let you stop analysing until you do that either, lol.

i haven't seen that show, not sure if it'd creep me out or i'd enjoy it.might check it out some time.
