I am relocating to Jacksonville in early November. I would like to start talking to people sooner to see if I can find a platonic connection with someone for platonic cuddling.

I believe touch and affection are basic human needs, and that everyone deserves comfort, respect, and kindness. I’m empathetic, enjoy listening, and people often tell me I put them at ease.

Open communication and consent matter a lot to me. I want a cuddle buddy who feels comfortable asking for what they want, saying what they don’t want, and saying no. Knowing your boundaries are genuine makes it much easier for me to relax too.

I’m on the aromantic spectrum and not looking to date. Regardless, I value closeness and touch. I’ve cuddled platonically with both men and women and regularly attended Cuddle Party events that include workshop activities led by trained facilitators, so I’m comfortable and skilled establishing boundaries and consent.

While platonic cuddling with men or women can be a wonderfully relaxing and comforting experience for me, it feels more satisfying to me to hold and be hugged by woman for reasons I do not fully understand. I prefer to cuddle with women, but I am up for a cuddle with anyone, regardless of biological gender, gender or sexual identity. As long as boundaries are spoken and respected I feel safe

I’m older and in good shape for my age. My ideal cuddle friend: someone I’m genuinely friends with, who might text, “Cuddle after work?” or meet for a walk, tea, a hug, and some relaxed companionship.
