Hugs and touch are a fundamental human need.

I believe strongly in the inherent value of all people and that all are beautiful creatures deserving of touch and comfort.

I feel that I'm great at making people feel at ease, relaxed. I'm particularly empathetic and enjoy listening.

I believe in open communication about what sort of touch is and isn't OK before and during cuddling. I appreciate it when my cuddle buddy feels comfortable enough to ask for what they want and do not want, and is comfortable saying no to me because then I know their yesses are genuine. I feel guarded if I am not sure you will speak your boundaries.

I am on the aromantic spectrum (greyromantic, which means I rarely feel romantic attraction). Yes this is a thing. I can send you links if you are curious. I have decided at my stage of life it is not worth the energy and time investment to try and date, because odds of feeling any spark are loooooow..... but I still need touch!

I have cuddled non-sexually with both men and women. Both can be a wonderfully relaxing and comforting experience for me. In the last couple of years I am regular attendee of platonic touch cuddle parties facilitated by a cuddleparty.com trained facilitators. These events begin with a ~45 minute workshop with exercises on consent...in short I am experienced at coloring inside the boundaries and explaining mine to you.

It feels more satisfying to me to hold a woman for reasons I do not fully understand. I believe in the humanity of all people and am up for a cuddle with anyone, regardless of biological gender, gender or sexual identity. As long as my boundaries are respected I feel safe with anyone.

I am older, in very good shape for my age. My picture is now 7-8 years old. About the same, but the hair up top is cut short as it has thinned some, and the beard is now mostly gray (mustache getting there!)

Just looking for a cuddle friend or two, preferably close by. My dream is someone down the block, we are super comfortable friends and can just like knock on the door for a hug or send a text “cuddle after work for an hour?” etc.

**I do not live in Jacksonville yet** but am interviewing for a job there and want to see if there is a healthy cuddle community as I can't seem to find platonic touch gatherings like I have been attending in the area.
