I'm new to this site. What tips can you give me to book sessions?
@dee_love As a pro, you generally have to wait for clients to contact you. The forum is a good place to air your views on subjects.
I've had pros contact me and ask if I want to book a session with them. As much as I am touch-starved and would love to see a pro again if they are comfortable with the COVID-19 thing, I almost never respond to those. It makes me feel uncomfortable when they try to solicit their services without at least trying to talk to me first.
In the pro section of the forum, there are a lot of tips and suggestions. Check that out.
I just look at who visited my page and if they are local I message them and say “Hi, thank you for visiting my profile. I hope all is well” I will also periodically check in with clients I’ve had sessions with in the past and I will update my profile picture to get more eyeballs on my page.If you are really struggling you can run a promotion but you don’t wanna do that too often and be prepared for the fact that some people will just take advantage of the sale price but will not become regular customers once you go back to your full price.
