Experiences as a visually impaired client of cuddling.

Most of my experiences when cuddling with someone have been absolutely amazing. Most of the professionals that I have spoken to have been excepting of the fact that I cannot see. And I usually get comfortable with them rather quickly.
Most of the sessions that I do consist of talking and listening to music and having my hands scratched and rubbed.
For me, I definitely think that touching is important. And I definitely am glad that there is a service like this. I have always been told growing up that having someone scratch my hand can be deemed inappropriate.
I am glad that this community can be a safe space for me. A judgment free zone. And to all of the cuddlers that have met with me thank you for changing my life and reducing the stress that I have been feeling throughout this year. It means a lot to me and I deeply appreciate it.
I especially enjoyed my experience with a person called called healing laughter. Everything about her sessions was absolutely amazing. It was nice to snuggle at the park and watch the sunset. And her voice was very soothing. It almost felt like being with an old friend that I have not seen in months.

Your comments are always so nice. Very refreshing

  • @Mmart ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ I sure do try!

  • Thatโ€™s very interesting. I just started, and Iโ€™m a blind professional. So Iโ€™m on the other side of things. And I would say, my first client, was very appreciate of and understanding of my blindness. Something I really appreciate in value. I did not feel judged, and we both got enjoyment out of the session. So I also give thanks, for this website to exist and be able to be non-judge mental.

  • Thank you all for my nice comments.

  • That's wonderful! It's great to see more people with disabilities as both clients and pros here. :)

  • Awesome, just awesome.

I once got to walk around at an event with a blind woman who wanted me to walk with her and describe everything I saw, It was one of the sweetest experiences of my lifetime, I have to say. Have you guys been to a Blind Cafe? It's a company that was started in Boulder, Colorado and they do events in total darkness for people who can see. The waiters are blind and some of the musicians are blind. The peeps with site have to suck it up and figure out how to eat their food in total darkness. Some of the blind folks share and the peeps with sight get to ask all their dumb questions. That's also one of the sweetest experiences of my lifetime. I've gone 3 times. So good.

It's so nice to see posts like these. This is exactly the reason I think cuddling is so vital to ones mental well being :)

I went to a place like this in NYC some years back while I was on an assignment.
It was an interesting and pleasant evening, I'd highly recommend trying one out if you're into sense adventures.

Edited because something went wrong and half the message got nuked from orbit lol.

  • Most of the people that I have met with have been very excepting of this.

  • I am happy everything is working out well for you.
