What is something no ones knows about you, or would have never known or figured out unless you told them right now : )

  • All right I'll go first then, I've allegedly participated in breaking a wrongfully held teenager out of a Mexican jail and getting their dumbass back home to their momma. (They may have been better off doing the time knowing the mamma in question lol)

  • Lmao @NightShift39 ... & thank you , you always bite the bullet & answer first for the team πŸ˜…πŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ»

  • Well stories I've got, sanity stability and a plan on the other hand.... lmao

  • @introvme you started the thread...so what was in your mind?

  • Yes need to know intensifies )

@HUGGGGGG & @NightShift39 i guess this isn’t too interesting lol but I’m the one in my circle who will host the Super Bowl 🏈/ Boxing πŸ₯Š/ MMA or a really big game πŸ€ at my place but secretly I really don’t care about the game- I do it to get everyone together & enjoy the laughs / company lol

  • I was an impulsive teenage badass (almost)...

    Examples:
β€’ In middle school, this 'hard' looking punk girl transfered in and for whatever reason was hovering over someone smaller than her and was threatening her. So I got in her face and told her to, "Pick on someone her own size, like me." She told me to meet her after school. I went, but she didn't show (& thank goodness! I'd never been in fight and was freaking out). According to my friend's I'd come off like I was unhinged, so I'm not surprised she got scared.

β€’ On our way to the club one night, two friends and I were mugged downtown by these three guys and I took off after them screaming obscenities my 15 year old self had never used before. The cop I spoke with explained how dangerous that was, because had I caught up, then what? He was really nice though and gave us a ride so we got there safely.

β€’ A few months later, while waiting for that same club to open, an acquaintance was surrounded then started getting pummeled by some neo-Nazis. When I realized what was happening, I flipped out and went to rush in, but was held back by others that had gathered. In the end I was only able to help by driving him to the ER to get his ear stitched and ribs wrapped. Again though, had I not been stopped, then what?

β€’ That same winter, a few months after I got my license, I took my friends out hydroplaning (I'm guessing the club wasn't open) and ended up with two flats. This guy pulls up and offers to help/give us a ride. I sat behind him and the entire time was holding a looped belt in my lap, ready to choke him out if he tried anything.

There were a number of times back then when I was "ready to rumble" in a split second but I never really did. Years later though I learned I had a mean right hook. So...?
Yah... I really was't much of a "badass"...

  • Wow @quixotic_life thank you soo much for sharing all that πŸ˜ƒ & remember , it’s not about winning or losing its about standing up for yourself & being about if that unfortunate situations happens , you’re definitely a badass in my book!! 😎

  • Wow! @quixotic_life from all that you say (last one is the best) to a few days ago when someone called you a bad word and you handled it so nicely - quite a transformation, perhaps such are lessons of life ...

Pretty much everything about me is a thing no one would ever know unless I told them. Especially online. At least in real life you can tell I'm short, skinny, and white without me saying anything. Anything else, though? A mystery.

I've taken a couple of ballroom dance lessons quite some time ago and have thought about taking more lessons.

  • @quixotic_life You could have gotten yourself into some dangerous situations. I'm glad you made it out of all that okay. :)

  • @FlyingToaster I actually feel cheated by knowing ballroom dancing, (classical dance and gymnastics were mothers demands if I wanted to take martial arts) outside of killing it at my rotc ball and getting through the all of three weddings I've attended it's been a completely wasted skill and I'm totally useless on a club dancefloor lmao

When I turned 50 a group of my friends encouraged me to try and qualify for the Senior PGA Tour. I qualified but could not get financial backing.

  • @Mmart wow that is awesome!! Sorry to hear you couldn't go but that is still an impressive feat. 🀩

Thanks @NightShift39 It was a fun adventure at any rate. Met some great people, and a couple of them are still friends.

  • @Mmart Adventure and new friends, not a bad consolation prize by any means :)

  • I'm 1/2 in away from being a little person

    I'm Batman... πŸ¦‡

  • Oooh I've always wanted to hug batman lol

  • There was an earlier thread, exactly the same as this one, and I revealed my secret there.

  • I immediately need handmoisturizer after touching card board. The feel of cardboard is insanely drying for me . I really hate cardboard haha

  • @NightShift39 I think ballroom dance events might be fun/interesting. But yeah, probably not very useful for weddings & such

  • I guess it's true, I've never seen Batman and @tjalex in the same place together..

  • @FlyingToaster I never considered events or competitions but then it was something I was forced to do as opposed to wanting to lol and weddings and prom type events are the only places it was ever useful, sadly I missed the dinner and dancing being a date days by at least a decade lmao

  • Theres a lot I guess lol I don’t know how to play the piano much and there’s a piano in the room I cuddle with folks. So they always assume I can play lol
